The relentless beeping reverberated through the shattered corridors of the building, a haunting reminder of the silence that followed.

"Is anyone there?" A voice crackled urgently through the static. "Hello?"

"UCASI 2 here, west building near the target's location," a composed female voice responded promptly.

"Why the hell didn't you answer sooner?" the voice replied, brimming with urgency. "This is not a drill. UCASI 1 needs to pull out immediately!"

"I can't, sir," UCASI 2 replied calmly. "UCASI 1 is already inside. I'm providing visual intel support. I can't stay on the line long."

Before another word could be exchanged, gunshots erupted in the background, cutting through the tense atmosphere.

"I'm losing contact!" the frantic soldier shouted, disconnecting abruptly. "UCASI 1, we have to get out of there!"

"No can do," came the terse response.

In a room filled with military personnel adorned with countless badges, frustration brewed.

"Damn it!" the commanding officer barked.

"What's the status?" the general demanded.

"General, UCASI 2 is providing intel, and UCASI 1 is inside the target's location," the officer reported urgently.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Another casualty report?" the general snapped. "Send them in!"

At the general's command, chaos ensued. Phones rang incessantly, each call answered in a flurry of activity.

"Get a hold of UCASI 2!" the general ordered.

"Sir, the lines are down," a subordinate replied.

"That son of a..." the general cursed. "When are reinforcements arriving?"

"ETA 1200 hours!"

"Why the delay?"

"Don't worry, sir. He won't die," a confident voice interjected, drawing attention in the chaotic room.

"What are you doing here, Arthas?" the general questioned sharply. "You're not authorized."

"And why's that?" Arthas retorted.

"I'm overseeing this operation..."

"And it's gone to hell, hasn't it?" Arthas interrupted pointedly.

The general fell silent, acknowledging the operation's missteps. They risked losing a high-profile VIP and had sent their own into peril for nothing.

"He won't die," Arthas stated firmly. "Leave it to me now."

Meanwhile, at the target location, the battle raged on.
