Mainland Japan

"Welcome to Narita International Airport, folks. The weather is great for sightseeing," the pilot announced over the intercom. "The seatbelt sign will remain on until we come to a complete stop. Thank you for your cooperation."

...

"You're planning to live in Japan?" Arthas asked Ludlow.

"Yes, sir," Ludlow replied with determination in his voice.

"You're going to search for your family? It won't be easy, especially without any leads."

"I'll manage," Ludlow affirmed.

"Well, it's your choice. But can you even speak Japanese?"

"Yes, I've been practicing. I have a knack for languages," Ludlow explained.

"Good luck then. Come see me tomorrow, and I'll get you the paperwork you'll need," Arthas offered.

"Thanks," Ludlow nodded gratefully.

...

"Where to?" the taxi driver asked as Ludlow settled into the backseat.

"Do you know any car dealerships nearby?" Ludlow inquired.

"Sure thing. Car dealership it is," the driver confirmed, tapping a location into his GPS.

"Ryu Cars, 30 minutes," the GPS announced, and the car set off. Despite being of Japanese descent, Ludlow found the surroundings unfamiliar.

...

According to Arthas's records, Ludlow had been discovered on an unidentified ship bound for German soil during Arthas's 21st mission. The ship was filled with children, but there were few adults aboard-most of whom were kidnappers.

...

"Sir, we've arrived," the driver announced.

"Do you accept card payments? I don't have cash on me," Ludlow asked.

"I do," the driver confirmed.

"Thank you! Have a good day," Ludlow nodded, stepping out of the taxi.

"Ryu Cars"

Upon arriving at the dealership, Ludlow was quickly greeted by a dealer who spoke to him in English.

"Good morning, sir! Are you looking to purchase a new car?" the dealer inquired.

"Yes, I need a vehicle that's capable of driving in mountainous terrain and can carry construction materials," Ludlow explained.

"Your Japanese is excellent. I thought you were a foreigner," the dealer remarked.

"I'm Japanese by descent but raised abroad," Ludlow clarified.

"That explains it. Your pronunciation is spot-on," the dealer complimented.

"Thanks," Ludlow acknowledged.

"Alright, so you're looking for a pickup truck with good off-road capabilities and ample cargo space, correct?" the dealer confirmed.

"Yes, exactly," Ludlow nodded.

After a thorough discussion and inspecting several vehicles, Ludlow settled on the latest Toyota pickup truck, equipped with all the upgrades he had read about.

Choosing Toyota was an easy decision for Ludlow, having seen them used in battlefields-a testament to their durability.

...

"Thank you for your purchase!" the dealer bowed as Ludlow drove off in his newly acquired vehicle.

With transportation sorted, Ludlow's next task was finding a place to stay for the foreseeable future.
