BANG! BANG!"

"Is... is he down?" shouted one man to his teammate.

"I'm not sure!" The other replied, firing down the hallway.

Both were tense, expecting heavy security despite the target location being a decoy. Two dozen mercenaries had been hired to eliminate intruders.

"Check on him!" the reloader yelled, but received no response. When he turned to look, it was too late—the enemy was already dropping from the ceiling.

"BANG! BANG!"

UCASI 1 descended from above, swiftly checking the fallen.

"A handgun at last. No wonder your aim was off with those heavy weapons," UCASI 1 remarked, unloading the handgun.

"Last room," he muttered, pushing open the door cautiously.

...

"Seal team, move in!"

"Finally," the general sighed. "Send them in!"

"Yes, sir!"

"We'll have our men out soon."

"They'd be dead if they weren't my men," Arthas smirked.

"We'll see. Get visuals from their bodycams!"

"Right away!"

Moments later, a feed from the bodycams appeared before the officers.

"Squad one, move up!"

"Squad two, cover from above!"

Rappelling sounds echoed through the feed.

"Clear!"

"Clear!"

The routine continued, voices repeating over and over.

"Clear!"

"Clear!"

"I knew he'd survive."

"But we haven't seen him yet."

After relentless room clearing on different levels, squads one and two converged at the final door. Gestures were exchanged via the feed, directing squad one to breach first. Squad two's leader kicked the door in.

"Freeze!"

"Don't move!"

"~~~~"

The audio was garbled, drowned by noise, but the screen showed one chilling sight: UCASI 1 seated amidst a sea of blood.

UCASI 1 eventually dropped his weapons. Squad one cautiously approached, guns trained.

"Tell them he's on our side!" Arthas commanded the general.

"Yes, sir!"

Soon after, both squads lowered their weapons. Moments later, cries of children were heard. Rushing to a small bathroom, they found several kids inside.

"The VVIP is among the children!"

"What?" the general exclaimed.

"I'd call that a successful operation," Arthas chuckled, leaving the room.

"Why did the intel say the VVIP was here?"

After intense interrogation, the source confessed the true location.

"Why the deception?" the enraged general demanded.

"He heard it from UCASI, sir!"

"Damn!"

...

The mission succeeded; the VVIP was rescued.

"Thank you, UCASI 2," UCASI 1 nodded.

"No problem, boss!"

"Thanks to you, these kids are safe," UCASI 1 said, watching them play.

"How did you manage without grenades or guns?"

"The devil's in the details," UCASI 1 smiled, patting UCASI 2 on the back.
