Chapter 10: The University

3rd POV:

Back to (Y/N).

It was hours later after Joel and Ellie's fight. (Y/N) tried to do it calmly but Joel with a fit of rage but now that's all in the past as Joel realizes that Ellie doesn't want Joel to leave her and so does he as for (Y/N), she matters to him and would do anything to keep her alive so will Ellie as she too develops her feeling towards (Y/N) but can't show it to him in fear that he might reject her.

Upon arriving at the university and found their way in the building, the trios looked around and found nothing but empty halls and an eerie feeling that someone's here.

(Y/N)'s POV:

I still had my hands on pant's pockets and make me was walking along with Joel and Ellie that we both are inside the university by ourselves.

Ellie: "You're being paranoid." Ellie said.

(Y/N): "No, I'm not, I trust my gut. If there are no fireflies, there are no fireflies."

(Y/N): "Look, we might as well take a look around." I said as we stayed close to each other.

Ellie: "So, (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Yeah?"

Ellie: "Have you ever been to a University once?"

(Y/N): "Nah, but I've heard of a university before." Then Joel butts in.

Joel: "You know that people like you can get accepted into universities like Oxford?"

(Y/N): "Yeah, I know. My dad taught me a lot of shit since I was 4."

Joel: "Why though?"

(Y/N): "Because he said I need to be ready for the world because no one would show no mercy in this world and I'd have to stay ready for what's coming."

Ellie: "But I thought that Price guy was your dad."

(Y/N): "Nope, if he is, I would've sound British right now."

Ellie: "Yeah, you're right.

Before we walked into the room, we heard noises so we got our guns. As Joel barges in with his gun at his hands, there's just pair of monkeys just having fun.

(Y/N): "Shit." I cursed.

Joel: "Well, at least they're not hunters." Joel said. I looked around for clues but nothing turned up.

Ellie: "(Y/N), can I talk to you?"

(Y/N): "Yeah?"

Ellie: "In private." She said as we walked in a room as we talked.

Ellie: "Have you ever cared for someone."

(Y/N): "Yeah, once."

Ellie: "Who was it?" She asked me.

(Y/N): "Her name is Sarah...s-she was Joel's daughter." He said to her and make her taken surprise for what she heard (Y/N) said and then (Y/N) was told her about his flashback for what he really remembered about Sarah...is his childhood love one.

I was there and I saw her death and I...couldn't save her because I wasn't there and when I got there and turns out that she got shot by the soldier and except for Joel who was only alive and then I stood there and saw my own childhood love one was been killed. It felt rage and I couldn't save my parent and family...also my childhood Sarah...I-I-I wish to be there to save her and I couldn't.

I couldn't!!!!!

As we went downstairs, killing hunters on the way, Joel then reached to the door but was ambushed by a hunter who pinned him down. I then stabbed hunter in the back and helped Joel up before losing his and fell and got stabbed through the stomach by an iron rod.

Joel: "ARRGGHHH!" He shouted in pain as Joel looked at the iron rod that stabbed through his stomach.

Ellie/(Y/N): "Joel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Both of us shouted but I didn't pay attention as I was in shock that I just trip Joel to fall down on the iron pod.

(Y/N): "Look, here's what we're gonna do, o—"

Joel: "Pull me up." He said and (Y/N) looked worried.

(Y/N): "You sure?"

Joel: "Yeah, I'm sure." He said as he was pulled out his hand to grab mine. I pulled him up as he was yelled in pain as the rod was out of his stomach.

(Y/N): "You good?"

Joel: "I'll live." As he said pulled out his revolver and we made our way to the entrance. As I opened the door, Joel was tripped and fell down the steps and saw that a hunter was trying to steal our horses.

Hunter: "What the?!?! S-Shit-" He tries to said and then I was running toward to the hunter and grab his face and make me slammed his face to the tree and then I begin to smashing the shit out of him. The hunter's head was crushed and his skull cracked like split opened and make me was let go of his face and he was fell down on the ground turns out to be lifeless and death.

(Y/N): "Alright, let's get him out of here." I told her and make her nod her head and then two of us bring him to the horse but Carnage is helping me to give Joel to lift up to the horse and then me and my partner begin to ride away.

Time Skip Later.

In Somewhere Else.

When (Y/N) was with Ellie and Joel heading out to the place with hideout that's where they are going to be there and then they bring Joel to the safe place and then (Y/N) ask Ellie that he got something else in his hands and what he really was going to use his both hands raise out. Then the red slimes comes out from his arms and make him was consuming all the body of Joel and he beg Carnage to save Joel and then he was healing him up.

After the healing is done right now and make (Y/N) was sigh out little bit and then he told her that it was done and then Ellie who sat beside with (Y/N) and the two of them were sat there for awhile until they both waiting for Joel to wake up and they want to see the old man is going to be alright and (Y/N) was put his right arm around her waist and keeping her close.
