"Party! Party!" Trevino Domino Deguzman, the owner of this club, a 17-year-old boy with incredibly supportive parents. I found myself frustrated, sipping on alcohol with my friends in the VIP area. It's hard to blame us when the club owner happens to be our friend, allowing us entry despite our underage status.
"Hey man, what's with the big frown?" Xyr inquired. That's Xyr Tan for you. He's half Chinese, Yet the language didn't stop him from talking so much
"My father is marrying a woman who already has a child!" I blurted out in my drunken state.
"Della has a child?" Gus, also known as Augustus, chimed in. He have this typical good student vibe yet he hangout with us.
"Yeah, right! It turns out my father knew. Why did they keep that from me? That nice ass and juicy lips-What am I even saying?" I leaned against the counter.
"Is she pretty!?" came the question from the friend always on the lookout for girls. This Thirsty maniac!
"Who?" I slurred back. "Your step-sister, dumbass!" Xyr clarified.Step-sister? Do I have a step-sister?
"Huh! I have a step-sister?" I pondered out loud.
"How am I supposed to know? I heard you mention 'nice ass and juicy lips,' so I assumed..." I cut him off. "Ah! You mean the lion guy? Lion? Liam? Nah, can't remember the name, just the ass!" I chuckled, feeling ready to sleep.
"A boy, huh?" Xyr mused. Wow, he has a brain?
"Come on, let's go home. You're all drunk," Gus sighed, rolling his eyes.
Among the four of us, Gus is the best one. I can't deny the fact that both I and the other two were born to be assholes.
The next morning, I woke up at Gus's condo, finding myself on the couch while the other two were sprawled out on the floor.
"Damn! My head is killing me. How many bottles did I down last night?" I groaned, massaging my throbbing head as I spotted Gus cooking.
"You're awake? Here, eat up this hangover soup!" he quipped, rolling his eyes.
"Your phone was vibrating last night..." he paused, "it's from your dad." My friend understood the complicated relationship I had with my father.
"Don't give me that look; I hate it," I said, taking a sip of the soup. Pity, I didn't feel deserving of such sympathetic gazes. I was strong.
"Hey! Hey! Hey, you motherfucker!" Xyr's grumpy voice interrupted. "Damn, back off and eat, you motherfucker!" I retorted.
Since my mom passed away last year, the only people who stood by my side were these three. I couldn't be more grateful.
I checked my phone to see the messages Gus mentioned:
OldMan: Where the heck are you, Cedric?
OldMan: Come home early. We need to talk about something. Your step-mom and Liam are on their way here. They will be living with us.
What the fuck is this? I'll be living with total strangers? I thought my dad would just replace my mom, guess his replacing the both of us.
Fuck, my life.
