"Thank you for the ride," he said before leaving without waiting for my response. Maybe he was still annoyed about what happened. That honk really got to him.
After the events of the previous night, I felt a strange urge to annoy him even more. It was as if I enjoyed seeing him angry he looks cute. But he was the son of the woman I despised the most! I couldn't possibly like him when he was annoyed! Yes he looks really damn cute-I needed to get it together, Cedric.
Having breakfast together, I couldn't irritate him in front of my dad and his mom. That would only lead to my dad lecturing me on respecting others. I loathed those long lectures he gave me.
Now, I was lounging in my room, waiting for the right moment. Like a predator stalking its prey, I awaited the perfect time to strike! Well, that sounded good.
A few hours later I decided to go to the Living room to have a better view of him.
But wait, no, that sounded boring! That was my current perspective. I found myself in the living room, awaiting Liam to emerge from his room.
Trevinomino: Bro, let's party tonight. Dina misses you, lol!!
I stared at the message blankly, unsure of what to reply.
Me: Can't.
Wow, what a big word!
Trevinomino: Why? Business again or grounded?
Me: I just don't want to.
I set my phone aside, counting the passing seconds. This was getting tedious. A few hours later my phone vibrated again
IdiotXyr: Trev said you won't be coming? What's up, bro? Are you sick? Do you need a hug? ;)
Trevinomino: We'll be going to the club without you, buddy! Just the thought of it makes me want to cry :(
Icecoldgus: You're not coming? Are you sick or something? Xyr said you wanted a hug, and I'm not up for hugging distant men.
What the fuck are they even saying!?
I decided to watch some movies and stop dwelling on bothering Liam. But why did everything feel so dull today?
Days passed, and my life felt monotonous. Nothing seemed to pique my interest, and Liam and I hadn't even had a proper conversation. I mean, why would we need one? But the idea of living under the same roof without much interaction was starting to bother me.
The day of our first day together at school had arrived. It had been a while since I entered that school, and I kind of missed the attention from the girls, the scolding from the mad teacher, the hot English teacher from last year (what a nice ass). And the thought of Liam studying with me at the same school made me strangely excited.
"So, you'll be riding with Cedric until your car is fixed," my dad stated. That was the only thing he mentioned that didn't irritate me, by the way.
"Sure, sir," Liam replied impassively. He was a cold man, yet he still managed to look good.
After breakfast, Liam and I walked to the garage. I wore the school uniform but left my polo shirt unbuttoned, revealing my black shirt underneath. Liam, on the other hand, had his uniform perfectly donned. He looked cute.
I could sense the excitement in his eyes as he walked beside me. I had never seen anyone so thrilled to go to school. It was cute seeing him like that.
Opening the passenger seat for him, I waited for him to enter. Wait, did I just fucking hold the door open for him? I hadn't even done that for any girls!
Well, this was completely fine.
