Jimin's Side

"At this point he's gonna have to redo his senior year from how many times he has been absent" Jungkook sighed as they walked in the direction of Yoongi's house.

"That's why we're bringing him his work" Taehyung said, kicking a rock in a line ahead of him.

"And to make sure he's okay"

"Why wouldn't he be?" Jungkook worried.

"There's something off, I don't know what but last time I came to see if he was okay his mom seemed...sketchy"

"How so?" Taehyung asked, averting his attention away from the rock.

"She seems always mad but I think it's because his parents are divorcing because last time I went they were having a nasty fight"

"Oof, poor guy" Jungkook said as he leaned against Taehyung who nodded in agreement.

"Don't mention it though! I think it's a touchy subject.."

"We won't Hyung" Taehyung teased

"I am not even a year older than you guys!"

"You're right, you look older than us by more than a year" Jungkook joked.

"Shut up"  Jimin whined jokingly and the other two laughed.

When they got to Yoongi's house

aehyung skipped to the door of Yoongi's house and knocked three times with a wide grin on his face as the other boys joked behind him. It took a while and Taehyung was about to knock again when the door cracked open.

"Who are you!?" A scrawny woman harshly asked, startling the teenagers.

"we're some of Yoongi's friends from school, I stopped by last time" Jimin butted in to save Taehyung from the awkwardness.

"He's busy, get out of here" the woman spat back. Her words were slurred and she seemed a bit disorganized causing the youngsters to look at each other in confusion.

"Okay ma'am, have a nice day" Jimin bowed and motioned the other to follow, which they quickly did.

"What was her problem?.." Jungkook asked slightly concerned as Jimin walked up to a window.

"Is this Yoongi's room?"

"I think so, last time I came I saw him come from this direction, it might be risky but I just want to make sure Yoongi's okay" Taehyung quickly agreed, soon followed by Jungkook.

"We just need to make sure he's okay then we'll leave" Jungkook agreed as they knocked on the window. It only took a second before the window was open showing the pale boy who got whatever reason had a large purple bruise on the side of his face. Jimin grew slightly worried as he saw the state of the older.

"W-what are you guys doing here?" The worry only grew once Yoongi lifted a wrapped hand.

"We wanted to make sure you're okay.."

When they were rushed into the bathroom

The three boys scurried to the bathroom, hushing each other. Taehyung sat on the toilet and Jimin closed his eyes and leaned against the wall. Jungkook quietly motioned the boys to look at what he was intensely staring at with a fearful look in his eyes.

"Is that?.." Taehyung whispered as he saw the blood covered blade on the counter. Jimin studied more of the bathroom, noticing an opened first aid kit with blood covered rags in the trashcan, this had to have been recent.

"Do you think Yoongi-"

"Shh" Jungkook shushed Taehyung as he heard Yoongi's mom come near. They heard every word perfectly and looked at each other with worry. Jimin's face was pale from the knowledge they took in. They weren't supposed to know any of this, he felt as if they were invading the older's privacy. Once the woman's footsteps were far enough Jimin quickly said.

"Don't ask him about it, if he wants to talk about it he will" Jimin told the youngers.

"No we need to make sure he's okay Jimin, if he's cutting himself -"

"Then he won't admit it, we just need to show him support And if we attack him with questions he's not gonna feel comfortable"

"Jimin's right on this one Tae, we can't just ask him about such a sensitive subject when we barely know him" Taehyung looked as if he wanted to protest but he sighed and just agreed.

"I won't ask anything " he muttered before the door opened

"Sorry about that" Yoongi muttered with his head hung low and jiming just widely smiled going back to the conversation they were having before. It was what's best for Yoongi, at least that's what Jimin told himself. Because clearly the elder had issues and Jimin knew the boy had feelings for him so he figured if they stay as far away from the emotional part of everything they would be fine. He was only helping Yoongi to clear his guilty conscience about ignoring the boy for so long, he didn't want any added pressure. He felt selfish but he didn't care because he decided it was finally time for him to get what he wanted. And all he wanted was Jungkook, a clear conscience, and his best friend Taehyung, nothing more, nothing less. Things were finally gonna go his way.
