The day had finally arrived. It began like any other, with the sun casting its warm glow over the Mikaelson compound. Anna had spent the morning feeling restless, a sense of anticipation simmering just beneath the surface. As the hours passed, she began to feel the first pangs of labour.

Draco was the first to notice the change in Anna's demeanour. They had been sitting in the living room, discussing plans for the baby's nursery, when Anna suddenly winced, gripping her belly. Draco's eyes widened with a mix of excitement and concern.

"Anna, are you okay?" he asked, his voice steady but filled with underlying tension.

Anna nodded, breathing through the contraction. "I think it's time, Draco. The baby's coming."

The news spread through the house like wildfire. Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, and the rest of the Mikaelson family sprang into action, their usual calm and collected demeanour giving way to a flurry of activity. Kol and Marcel began gathering supplies, while Freya prepared a makeshift birthing room, using her magic to ensure it was comfortable and safe for Anna.

Lily, who had been staying at the compound to help with the final preparations, rushed to Anna's side. "Sweetheart, you're going to be okay. We're all here for you."

Draco took Anna's hand, his eyes filled with love and determination. "I'm right here, Anna. You're so strong. We'll get through this together."

As the contractions grew more intense, Anna found herself relying on the support of her family. Draco and Lily stayed by her side, offering comfort and encouragement with every wave of pain. Lily's presence was especially soothing; her calm demeanour and gentle words helped Anna focus on her breathing and stay grounded.

"Just breathe, Anna," Lily said softly, rubbing her daughter's back. "You're doing an amazing job."

Draco held Anna's hand tightly, his thumb brushing over her knuckles in a steady, reassuring rhythm. "I love you, Anna. You're incredible. Our son will be here soon."

The hours seemed to stretch endlessly as Anna laboured through the night. Freya's magical touches made the room feel warm and safe, and the presence of her loved ones gave Anna the strength she needed. Despite the pain, there was a sense of unity and love that enveloped the room.

At one point, Rebekah peeked in, her eyes wide with a mix of awe and anxiety. "How's she doing?"

"She's amazing," Draco replied, his voice filled with pride. "She's the strongest person I know."

As dawn began to break, painting the sky with hues of pink and gold, Anna's labour reached its peak. The room was filled with a palpable tension, everyone holding their breath in anticipation. Freya, who had taken on the role of midwife with her vast knowledge and calming presence, guided Anna through the final stages.

"You're almost there, Anna," Freya said encouragingly. "Just a little more."

With a final, powerful push, Anna felt an overwhelming rush of relief and joy. The room was suddenly filled with the sound of a baby's first cries. Tears streamed down Anna's face as she looked at her newborn son, his tiny form wriggling in Freya's arms.

Draco's eyes were filled with tears of happiness as he leaned down to kiss Anna's forehead. "You did it, Anna. He's here."

Freya gently placed the baby in Anna's arms, and Anna felt a profound sense of awe as she looked at her son for the first time. He had a tuft of blond hair and his eyes, still unfocused, seemed to hold the promise of a bright future.

"Welcome to the world, little one," Anna whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "We've been waiting for you."

Draco wrapped his arms around his wife and son, his heart overflowing with love and gratitude. "He's perfect, Anna. Just like you."
