XIII.

The moment felt right, it was absolutely surreal on what happened..

I kissed Till, but only for a few seconds as I realized what I've done, my body had a mind of its own.. I don't know if I have regrets by this because after our lips parted, we both rose back up to the surface and just laughed awkwardly.

"That.. was random."

"Totally."

"Let's forget this ever happened.."

Of course, those were the words I had to accept, it was my complete mistake and we weren't even dating. I could only feel ashamed of said actions as I nodded, glancing at the water below us that rhythmically flowed.

When we both arrived back to the shore, the girls seemed to be relaxing — Sua was braiding Mizi's hair.

"Seems like you guys had fun."

"Haha yeah."

My gaze shifting from Sua to Till, he seemed to just nod his head as he made his way behind the 2 girls.

Did I... mess up.. by kissing him?

Well I couldn't just admit it was over way too soon, I'm sure he's just trying to get his thoughts in order. I decided to not think for it at the moment and focus on having fun for the beach day.

Sua opened up her cooler she brought and gave us a huge selection among drinks, tea / soda / water / juice. Mizi took first pick (like usual), I chose a cherry cola.

As I reached for my beverage, my hand clashed into Tills.. we both stopped our movement and looked up at each other — this was definitely weird now.. Till laughed and moved his hand away until my own left the cooler.

"Hey Ivan, you should try these chips, it's really good!"

"Hm? Okay, let's test your judgment."

"Yeah no, Mizi don't give away your chips to him. I'll eat them for you instead."

"Hehe you caught me.. "

"I'm going for a walk."

Till blurted out, we all turned our heads to him as he started walking off to the nearby forest trail. I could only feel a slight pang in my heart... it's dreadful.

I decided not to follow him, that seemed like to be the best result. I just ate snacks and food with the girls, talking about the usual like school and home.

It's been around 30 minutes since the last I seen of Till, I was started to panic just a bit.. did he perhaps leave instead? Well that isn't like him.. he would always inform us whenever in person and if not then via text. I got up urgently and ran into the forest trail, maybe Till was in trouble??

Mizi and Sua were just confused, the two looked at each other and shrugged — they knew what was up anyway.

"I'm rooting for you guys !!"

"Same here!"

I ran and ran until a voice called out for me, it definitely caught me off guard but I didn't let that affect me.
