A weekend away

Lena's: POV
After much discussion Stef and I agreed to go out of town for a week to visit my aunt Alex and her family in new York. Mom decided to stick around a little while longer to watch the babies while we were away no matter how hard l didn't want to be away from my girls, but l knew deep inside we both needed this time away just the two of us. So here we are at the airport waiting on our flight to get here, the lounge was rather crowded. I was never a big fan of crowds growing up but l just bow on through, Stef went over to Starbucks to get us some breakfast because we didn't have time to eat before leaving the house due to the fact we had to be at the airport extremely early in the morning, l looked around the busy airport. Even though my mother suggested to bring Alec along as my body guard to watch out for me, l didn't want people to treat me differently cause l was Royalty
I knew it was For my own protection. I took out a Magazine that I bought along to read, maybe it was a little too soon to leave the house. I happened to look up to see Stef heading over carrying a tray of food and two hot beverages, l put my book down to go give her hand. Baby what took you so long, l was about to send Alec to search for you. Lena said to her wife,Babe it was crowded in there. I believe it was short staff cause it was only two cashiers on the register and one person working in the back, Lena took the drinks from the tray
And sat back down in the chair. Stef took a seat long side her wife and open up the bag that was full of egg bagels, and took one out and handed it to Lena who was drinking her favorite hazelnut coffee. Here love
