AS THE cherry blossom petals fell, so did everything they had built up until now. From a simple decision to a widespread rip in the tapestry, no one expected a thing.

[name]. A girl like no other, possessing qualities that deserve to be admired. Determined, kind, strongwilled and stubborn, she was everything she could possibly wish for, flawless almost.
Almost because there is no such thing as a flawless human being. Everyone had theirs, that's what made them so unique, and unfortunately for her, she seemed to be lacking in the department of love.

It wasn't lacking per se. She knew how to love, she just didn't know WHO to love. Out of everyone she could've fallen for it was one of her childhood friends that took the spot; Itoshi Sae, a man to die for, atleast, in her eyes that was. He was admired by people all around their school, considered a man of his words, calm and collected, and eye candy on top of that. In her eyes, he had long ago achieved perfection, and who wouldn't want to be within perfection's reach?

While she thought her feelings were buried deep underground, invisible to the eye, Sae had always known about them. He simply refused to act upon them.

The girl had met the Itoshi's years ago, all the way back in kindergarten. She noticed two boys sitting in the sandbox, watching the other kids with sadness in their eyes as they had no toys to use to help them build their sand empire. [name] being the kind person she had always been waddled up towards the pair, plopping down in between them and sharing her toys. A friendship had bloomed that day, their parents soon enough became friends, and with that their childhood took a turn for the better.
