26. Sanctuary

"What the bloody hell is that?"

"For Nessa!" Sofia declared. "Its a puppy!"

"No. Dogs are big and majestic. Uh, a Pinscher, a shepherd, a big slobbery mutt, a Dane." Sandor corrected. "That is a deformed bunny."

"Sandor." Sofia scolded

"A puppy!" Nessa squealed as sofia put down the little fluff ball. "Mama a puppy!"

"Deformed bunny." Sandor corrected moving behind sofia and kissing along her neck.

"Nessa loves him."

"Mama! A puppy!" Nessa smashed the puppy to her happily. "My puppy! My puppy! I keep him right?"

"All yours beautiful." Sofia agreed leaning back into sandor.

"What a cute puppy!" Tyanna declared coming up to them.

" according to Sandor, it's a deformed bunny." Sofia corrected tyanna looked between them.

"My mistake." Tyanna agreed. "So the honeymoon phase is going badly?" She realized.

" it's going absolutely great." Sofia assured "He just doesn't like little dogs." Sofia answered.

"Its not a fucking dog." Sandor corrected.

"Morning gendry!" Tyanna cooed.

"Ladies." He answered tipping hood head to them. "Excuse me sandor Lord Stark suggested i train with you. Said you were the best." Sandor growled in answer

"He will be along soon." Sofia assured. She turned to sandor he loosened his grip allowing her to turn in his arms. "He is a good kid-"

"Stark still has s crush on you. If he makes a move on you i swear what jaime did will look like child play." Sandor growled.

"San!" Sofia declared. "I turned him down moons ago. You honestly think i want his pretty face when i get your-"

" ugly mug every damn day." Tyanna cut in.

"Don't listen to her she's a bitch." Sofia assured

"And god mother to your future child."

"What?" Sandor questioned.

"Surprise." Sofia agreed. "Thanks a lot Tya." She grumbled back.

"Sorry.  I thought you would have told him!"

"Clearly not-"

"Fi." Sandor interrupted. She batt long black eyelashes up at him. "We having a baby?"

"Nessa is getting a little brother or sister." Sofia agreed.

Sandor kissed her long and hard. He remembered meeting nessa for the first time. Her little face crying out. Begging for help for attention for love. Sandor had fallen for that little girl. She stole his heart and now he got the chance to do it all from the beginning with the woman he loved most in the world. With his wife.

There were two things in this world sandor never thought he would ever have. A wife that loved him and a family.

He got nessa and she was his little world.  Then he got Sofia. He knew he would heaven and hell for them. They deserved the world and sandor wanted to be the one to give it to them.

He worried the first few moons of marriage as the capital was adjusting to neds ruling and gendrys resurrection that Sofia would change her mind but she fell deeper and deeper in love with sandor.

Sandor didn't think he could love sofia more but she was glowing with his child. Their little family was growing and the capital which one felt like hell and torment suddenly felt like a sanctuary in her arms.
