As the windows shattered and pain was exchanged, Yelena let out a sharp cry, shaking her hands in pain.

"Aaw!" she exclaimed, turning to Kate with a mix of annoyance and amusement still shaking her hands. "That really hurts!"

Kate, panting and trying to catch her breath, responded, "Yeah, and also, kick to the ribs." She gestured to her body, grimacing slightly.

"Yeah, that was a good one. Good form," Yelena acknowledged, also panting.

"But you really did a cool body throw!" She mimicked the throw with her hands, giving Kate a small nod of approval.

Kate, despite herself, couldn't help but smile. "Yeah... thank you." She pointed a finger at Yelena. "Stop making me like you."

Yelena shrugged, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. "I'm sorry, I can't help it. That was really fun. Bye."

With that, she turned to the broken window, preparing to make her escape. She attached her grappling hook to the ground, ready to swing out.

Just as Yelena was about to jump, Kate jumped and grabbed her feet stumbled on the ground, causing Yelena to groan in frustration.

"Leave me alone!" Yelena muttered, trying to shake Kate off.

"Nope!" Kate replied gripping on Yelena's foot tightly, however, In a swift move, Yelena managed to throw Kate off by a back flip, but Kate was quick to react, throwing an object at Yelena.

Yelena caught it effortlessly, only to find Kate right in front of her again, grabbing her in what could almost be mistaken for a hug.

They stumbled, falling to the ground in a heap, with Yelena on the bottom and Kate on top, pinning Yelena's arms.

"Aaw!" Yelena closed her eyes in pain from the impact of her head hitting the ground.

Their faces were inches apart, Kate's heart pounded loudly in her chest.

Kate paused.

An unbidden thought crossed her mind, and before she could second-guess herself, she leaned in, closed her eyes and pressed her lips to Yelena's.

Yelena's eyes widened in shock, and she pushed Kate off, causing Kate to stumble back.

Both of them scrambled to their feet, breathing heavily.

"What the hell was that?!" Yelena demanded, annoyance flashing in her eyes.

Kate, flustered and unsure of how to respond, could only stammer, "I... I don't know. I just..."

Yelena turned away, once again preparing to make her exit, this time with a mix of confusion and frustration lingering in the air.

But Kate blocked her again, putting her arms to bar the window.

"So annoying!" Yelena groaned in frustration, throwing her head back and letting out a deep, exasperated sigh.

Kate, frowning and clearly embarrassed, kept her arms firmly on the window.

"Do you realize you just kissed me? I'm a woman!" Yelena said, her tone incredulous pointing at herself.

Kate bit her lip as the realization hit, her eyes locked on Yelena. Her face turned crimson and couldn't utter a word remembering the flashback of their kiss.

Yelena gasped, "You liked it!" her surprise was evident as her jaw dropped.

"What! No!" Kate retorted defensively, but her eyes betrayed her as they flicked down to Yelena's lips.

Kate scoffed, trying to regain her composure. "I couldn't have liked that... even if you do smell nice and your lips are... really smooth."

Yelena observed Kate's flustered state, noticing the way she tried to mask her feelings with defensive words.

Everything Kate was saying was a compliment and obviously the kiss affected Kate.

Yelena's eyes widened, her jaw dropping even further in disbelief at Kate's reaction. "You've got to be kidding me," she said.

-

End.

Kate: Oh Yelena, every time you smile, my heart does a little happy dance.

Yelena: Good thing it's your heart and not your feet.
