Sans went back to the corridor after every monster was eliminated. Though he now could see something that he couldn't before. A yellow star was near the entrance of the corridor. It seemed to be drawing him to it's location. A second later he discovered he could interact with it. It gave him the option to save or continue. Was this how frisk and chara beat him so many times before?. Though he regardless knew the correct option to choose. He would gain nothing from continuing without a save.

he practiced using the power of each human soul. It was best to not have all the souls at once. It would make it harder to practice the individual traits. After a thousand of his own resets he was confident in his abilities. He then waited years. Until eventually he encountered Charisk near the barrier. He could tell they now truly rival the power of each other. He could also see and even recognise the souls of frisk and chara. Despite the new form it was still them. "So. You got the message after all. I had almost thought you could have been in a different timeline or potentially a different dimension. and there is no need to pretend either of you are from this dimension, the 3 of us seem to be universal constants and knowing both of you they are probably hiding right now". Sans said full of confidence in every word.

"How did you even create so much dust in snowdin?. And don't get me started on that out of place door, though I guess I will acknowledge that the other frisk and chara aren't with us" Charisk questioned and acknowledge. "In exchange for the acknowledgement I'll explain about how that much dust was created. In truth I just know too much about everyone. Remember in the library how you can gain more exp by making your victims sad or upset or even betraying them? It seems to also create more dust upon there death. As for that door, I think I know where the other frisk and chara are" sans said with a very sadistic smile.

Charisk then started the fight by attempting to punch sans in the face. "I thought as much. you were always the original aggressor in our fights, and for the record you can only blame yourself for how I am" sans said as he avoided the punch. "However this mad time I can promise will be different from all the previous" sans threatened. as he created a small Gray dragon made of water magic. The Dragon managed to hit Charisk and deal a significant amount of damage. Just as Charisk was about to see the next attack she noticed something much more important.

Her health was draining at a much higher speed compared to normal karma. And despite the acidic properties of the water dragon. It had no effect on karma. This would mark the first death of Charisk. However. It wasn't the next attack that killed her. Somehow it was the karma. It bypassed it's normal limit of doing nothing when the victim is on 1 health. Something the very world never allowed. Overall this 30 second fight was quite informative to Charisk. His attack pattern was expected to change, but even something as insignificant as karma was now a problem.

In the second attempt to defeat sans Charisk had prepared a dagger made of determination and used determination as armor. This time she avoided the first attack. However the attack this time was a black fireball. It seemed that sans didn't follow attack patterns anymore. This fight quickly devolved to be a test of how many times sans and Charisk were able to continue dodging. Eventually both of them landed a few hits on each other. Though sans was always incredibly unpredictable.

Sometimes he created tornados. Sometimes he created rocks of various sizes that were going in the direction of Charisk. Some of which were harmless so long as the target was moving. Sometimes there was even the odd lightning bolt that almost seemed to be attracted to Charisk. from looks alone it was clear that she had taken a severe beating. All that allowed her to survive this long was willing away the karma whenever possible. Though she was unable to remove the source of the karma.

Though sans was not much better off. The determination dagger hit his ribcage 5 times and he nearly began to melt each time. However each hit became less effective after the previous. He was somehow adapting to determination. This thought scared Charisk. It meant he was at least as determined as her. In addition to him somehow gaining the ability to adapt. And as evasive as they both were. It was clear to her who was truly more powerful. In the end nobody could truly evade forever.

Though Charisk still held on to hope. Surely something could brake the balance in her favor. right?.
