We cried while the boy and his father carried us to the car.
"Happy, Bartleby?" The boy's father asked him
"Oh, yeah."
Once we were all in the car, they shut the door behind us.
"What do we do now?" Glacier asked
"I don't know." I replied sadly
We then saw Noah and Henry come over to the car.
"Shh." Noah whispered and we all stopped barking
Noah and Henry then started to pick us up out of the car.
"Let's skedaddle." Noah said
"Hurry Noah." Henry replied
"Aah! The puppies are getting away!" Bartleby shouted
We ran inside the building with Henry and Noah.
"I smell grape juice." Budderball said running off
Budderball, this is no time for games." I tell my brother
"Budderball,stop!" Noah yelled when he realized what Budderball was about to do
Budderball fell into the container of grape juice.
"Quick dudes. He can't doggy paddle. He's too heavy." Mucus said
We ran up to the platform where Budderball had just been standing.
"He's floating." Buddha said. "It's a miracle."
"That's the weirdest grape juice ever." Budderball said when he got out.
"Looks like Budderball's going to need a bath when we get home."
We continued to follow Noah and Henry.
"Wait." Noah said stopping Henry. "Budderball's not here. We gotta find him. Hurry!"
We were now hiding from the man with the stick.
"Buddy?" Noah asked
"Molly?" Henry exclaimed
❄️Glacier's Pov❄️
"Mom, Dad!" I exclaimed
"Mom, Dad, you're ok!" Heartbud shouted
"We found you Buddy." Noah said
We jumped up on our mom and dad.
"So you know the plan." Noah asked
Dad barked twice.
"It'll only work if we work as a team." Noah explained
"Break!" Noah and Henry said
🪩B-Dawg's Pov🪩
"Sure. Send B-Dawg out as the decoy. I don't remember drawing the shortest straw.
"Any luck Selkirk?"
"They're hiding somewhere."
I barked to get their attention and then ran away from them.
⚾️Noah's Pov⚾️
"Ready Buddy?" I asked my dog
The two men came into view as B-Dawg ran past and into a barrel.
"Push." I said
We rolled the barrels and the buddies were inside them. The men climbed up to where the container of wine was and as the barrels hit the container it started to crack and they fell in.
The buddies got out of the barrels.
"Puppies all right?" I asked
"Ok, you all right?" Henry replied
Wine started spraying out of the crack in the metal container.
"Let's get out of here." I told Henry
Henry, Buddy, Molly, the Buddies, and I ran out of the building just as the container burst.
We heard a siren and Sheriff Bob showed up in his police car.
"Yeah." Henry and I said high fiving each other
"Good job Sniffer." Sheriff Bob said. "And, you kids, thanks for that call. Led me right to these nincompoops."
"We couldn't have done it without Sniffer either." Henry told the Sheriff
"I've been telling everybody for years, he's the best."
🍔Budderball's Pov🍔
Then I noticed my mom and dad were outside.
"Dad! Mom!" I exclaimed running over to them and out of the boy's arms
"But I just want someone I can play with." Bartleby said sadly
"You saved us." Mermaidbud told our parents
"We saved each other." Dad replied.
""By working as a team." Mom added
"We're really sorry we ran away." Photobud said
"We learned our lesson. We understand now." Buddha added
"We're ready for our new peeps." B-Dawg said
I looked over at Bartleby.
"I know he's a brat but that means he needs me even more, right?"
I ran back over to Bartleby and kissed him.
"Now we know they're ready." Mom said
"Without a doubt."
