Than the slumber filled arms of your love
Wrapping around you
Pulling you in,
Craving you when the mind is most vulnerable.
There is no better feeling than knowing they want you
When they guide your hands on their body
Gasping at your touch.
When you turn and invite a warm embrace
And then there is nothing.
A rumbling snore in your ear
Their hands firmly planted in the most
Platonic of places.
But there's no better feeling because at least you are here with them.
At least they are at peace holding you in their arms.
Except it lasts only a moment because they roll away as soon as your hands drift towards your own space.
Their back now turned, not giving a chance for correction.
Because as desperately as you want them,
They're too tired now.
