Aki, Touko, Power, and Denji walked down the street towards their destination, the sun still low in the sky. The streets were mostly empty, only a few early risers out and about.

They all knew the risks of their mission. The devil they were hunting was known for its ability to temporarily possess innocent people and use them to attack and inflict harm on others. They were all on high alert, knowing that they could encounter any number of people who were secretly controlled by the devil.

As they walked, Power sniffed the air, her eyes narrowing as she tried to detect any hint of the devil's presence. Denji walked next to her, his steps still carefree but anticipating.

Aki scanned the streets, his eyes sharp and alert for any signs of danger. He glanced at Touko, who walked next to him, her expression serious as she focused on the mission at hand.

Touko's mind raced as they walked, her thoughts filled with worry for the innocent people who had been taken over by the devil. She knew that this mission would be more complicated than usual, as they would have to find a way to eliminate the devil without injuring or killing the innocent people it was possessing.

She glanced over at Aki, knowing that he was thinking the same thing. They would have to be careful and strategic in their approach, to avoid causing any unnecessary harm to the innocents caught in the devil's grasp.

Power suddenly stopped in her tracks, her nose twitching as she picked up a faint scent on the air. "I smell something," she said, her voice low and urgent.

Denji and Aki exchanged a glance, their expressions growing more serious. Touko tensed up, her senses on high alert.

Power pointed to an alleyway off to the side of the street. "It's coming from that way," she said.

Aki nodded, his eyes darting towards the shadows in the alleyway. "Stay sharp," he said, his voice low again. "We don't know what we're dealing with yet."

The four of them entered the alleyway, their footsteps echoing softly on the paved ground. The alley was dark and cramped, and the air was thick with the smell of decay.

Suddenly, a figure appeared at the end of the alleyway, staggering towards them.

The figure was a young woman, her eyes vacant and her movements jerky and uncoordinated. She stumbled towards them, her hands reaching out as if to grab them.

Aki tensed up, his hand moving to the sword at his hip. "Careful," he warned, his eyes fixed on the woman.

Power sniffed the air, her nose crinkling at the scent. "She's one of those weird possessed humans."

Touko nodded in agreement, her eyes fixed on the woman. "But we can't hurt her," she said firmly. "We have to find a way to separate the devil from her without causing her any harm."

Aki gave a grim nod, his mind racing as he tried to come up with a plan. "But why is there only one?" he asked.

Power suddenly froze, her body tensing. "Wait," she said, her voice low and urgent. "I smell something else."

The air crackled with tension as everyone froze, their eyes darting around the alleyway.

Denji tensed up, his chainsaw revving louder in his hand. "What the hell is that?" he said, his voice low and wary.

Aki's eyes darted back and forth, searching the shadows for any sign of the source of the growl, his hand still resting on his sword.

Touko's hands clenched at her sides, her heart racing as she prepared herself for whatever lay ahead.
