Minho freezes.

What?

He stays silent, still caressing the others hair. He notices the other tense up, worried about his reaction.

"Go on." He urges.

Jisung opened his mouth, taking a deep breath and centering himself to tell his boyfriend about his first love.

Jisung walks through the school, his head was down and hood up to hide the bruise on his face. While staring at the floor someone bumped into him and dropped their stuff. Quickly, he crouched down, picking up the items and apologizing profusely.

As he was gathering up the stray papers a finger hooked under his chin, tilting his head up. The boy he bumped into was also crouching down. He was a little talker with short, dark hair and eyes to match. His skin was pale and soft, and a soft mole sat under his eye.

He was the most beautiful person Jisung had ever met. The boy could feel his cheeks heat up.

"No need to apologize, it was my fault." He spoke. His voice was silky, like music to the others ears.

"What's your name?" He asked, tilting his head slightly as a smile appeared.

"Jisung. Han Jisung." The boy breathed out.

"Nice to meet you Jisung. I'm Dae. Kim Dae." He replies. The older stands, gently taking his stuff from the stunned boy's hands and walking away. Jisung quickly regains composure and heads to class.

When lunch finally rolled around, the young boy walked into the gardens, finding a nice spot on the grass with a tree to lean against. He sat down, opening his math book to study. It was his worst subject and he desperately needed to do better.

"Hi." The boy jumped startled by the sudden voice. Above him was Dae, standing and smiling. "Can I sit with you?" Before Jisung could answer he sat down, peering at the boy's book.

"You're doing it wrong." He said, grabbing the book to slide it between them. Their knees touched, making the youngers heart flutter.

"Here, you're supposed to do it like this." The older started explaining, using his pencil to show how the working out is supposed to be done. When the bell rang, Jisung was starting to understand.

"Thank you, Dae!" He hugged the boy, surprising both of them. He realized what he did and was going to pull away when arms wrapped around him.

"You're welcome. I'm happy to help anytime." Jisung looked at him shyly, cheeks red. He stood up, brushing off his clothes as the other did the same.

"I think we're in the same class. I walk with you." The older offers, taking his hand and walking towards the school. The younger blushes, putting his head down to hide his smirk.

Over the next few weeks, the two grew close, always hanging out at Dae's but never at Jisungs. They spend as much time together as possible.

"Why do you never want us to go to your house?" The older questions one day that they were eating ice-cream. The other freezes. He didn't want the other to know about his home situation, nor did he want any questions about it.

"Your house is just a lot nicer." He answers, lying through his teeth. Dae decides not to push on, instead wanting to surprise the boy. He grabs the boy's hand, getting them to stand up.

"Come on!" He yells, running down the streets, Jisung barely able to keep up with him.

"Wait up!" He shouts back. The boys run through a small area of forest, soon arriving at a glistening lake. When the younger finally catches up to the older, he bumps into him, falling to the ground.

"Ow!" He squeals, almost immediately shut up when he sees the view. Dae laughs at him, laughing harder at the boy when he pouts. He sits down next to Jisung, letting the boy lay his head on his shoulder.

"This is a nice place." He says softly, eyes not leaving the sparkling water.

"Yeah, it's the place I come to clear my mind." He answers, looking at the cute boy next to him. He breathes deeply, gathering the courage to do something he's wanted to do for so long.

Dae shifts around to face the boy, resting his hands on his shoulders. He leans in a bit, noticing how the boy tenses and blushes.

"Can I kiss you?" He breathes out.

Jisung is frozen, butterflies doing flips in his stomach at the words.

"Yes." He replies as Dae leans in, slowly connecting their lips in a slow kiss. He leans away, looking at the smiling boy.

"Can I be your boyfriend?" He asks. The other nods his head eagerly before resting it on the olders shoulder again.

The two were happy, dating for a couple months before it was Jisungs birthday. He was up in his room, just like always, staring at the rose bushes below and the woods nearby.

A ringing of the doorbell brings him back to reality. He heads downstairs, eyes widening when he opens the door and there his boyfriend stands, holding a bouquet of flowers.

"W-what are you doing here?" The younger asks, frantically looking around for his parents.

"Surprising my boyfriend on his birthday!" He replies enthusiastically.

"WHAT?!" A voice bellows from behind Jisung. He spins around. In the doorway is his father, he notices his eyes are dilated, showing he had been day drinking.

"It's not what it looks like!" He yells. He sees the hurt in Dae's eyes but doesn't have the time to explain right now. His father storms towards him.

"Who are you to this boy?" He asks, anger dripping from his voice.

"I'm Jisungs boyfriend." The other replies confidently, smile instantly dropping when the older man grabs his hand and drags him out the door.

"Wait! Please!" The younger begs, running out after them. He tries grabbing his hand multiple times, getting shrugged off until he turns around. He slaps the boy to the ground as his mother comes rushing out.

Dae is shocked, letting himself be dragged to the woods nearby. The world is too loud as Jisung watches his love be taken to the forest as he is pulled back to the house. When he is shoved inside, pills and water are put into his hands.

His mother forces him to take them, not helping when he stumbles upstairs to his room, collapsing onto the bed.

A loud gunshot fills the air before the boy passes out.
