Chapter 8: The Spirit Of Competition.

After the incident that took place on Avatar Aang memorial island, Mark told everything to Tenzin of what happened in which the air bending master was relived that Korra was safe and was also shocked that Mark fought off Amon while his men ran away after what Mark did to their leader. For Korra however after what Mark did for her she couldn't stop thinking about him whenever she is around Mark or when she is asleep because her dreams were basically about Mark and how he promised her that he will stay by her side every step of the way and that promise was kept and it made the Avatar very happy.

So right now Mark along with Korra were at the pro bending arena training with Mako and Bolin of which Korra was given off from the task force and was back to training with the bending brothers who were happy to see their fellow teammate back.

Mark who was off to the side and watching Korra with Mako and Bolin using their bending skills to get ready for the tournament and saw that they were using their bending at each other so that they will stay focus and be more determined to succeed. While watching Mark saw Bolin get hit with fire by Mako then Korra got hit with an earth disk and finally Mako got hit with water in which caused all of them to hit the ground.

Mark: Uhhh.... Y'all good?

Mako/Bolin/Korra: Hahahahaha!

Bolin: We're good Mark thanks for asking.

Mako: Absolutely and it's been great having you and Korra at so many back to back practices and the training that you have been giving us really helps.

Mark: Hey it was no problem I am just happy that you are in top shape for the tournament especially you Korra.

Korra: Hehehe thanks Mark, and feels good to be back. Although Tarrlok isn't too happy about my leave of absence.

Bolin: Hey, you joined the Fire Ferrets before you joined his task force.

Mako: Alright come team huddle time and you as well Mark since you are a part of this.

Mark: okay, okay.

All four of them got into a team huddle in which Bolin was giving Korra a weird charming smile in which Korra was trying her best not to look bad but then stop to smile at Mark more who smiled at her while Mako looked confused of what is going on until he spoke.

Mako: Ahem..it's our first match of the tournament tonight. I know the three of us haven't been a team for very long but with Mark help I think we have chance of making history but even so the Fire Ferrets have never been this good. Are we ready?

Mark/Korra/Bolin: We're ready!

Asami: Not Quite. (A female voice saids that got everyones attention and so the team broke off their huddle and looked to see Asami with the new uniforms)

Asami: You'll need these.

Mako: Hey Asami.

Asami: Good morning sweetie.

Mako went over to see Asami with the new uniforms while Mark, Bolin and Korra who was giving the couple a weird look and it got Mark attention.

Mark: Hey you... Good? Korra.

Korra: Hm? Oh Mark yea I am fine why you ask?

Mark: Just wondering. you were making a weird face just now, that's why.

Korra: I was? (Korra saids while she looks at Mark. )

Mark: Hmmm...or it could just be my imagination then. Sorry.

Korra: Um ok if you say so.

Mark Mind: Does she like him?

Mako: These new uniforms look great.
