Chapter 9: And the winner is.

At the Pro bending arena Korra along with Mako and Bolin were training for the up coming match against the Wolf Bats while Mark watches from the side lines at was seeing the teams improvements.

Mark: man. Their skills are improving great well and if they keep this up they might have a chance to win the match against those Wolf Bats. (Mark saids in thought)

Th team were ready to take on the Tahno and the Wolf Bats in which their bending skills are increasing as well as their fighting styles and when the match comes they will show that the Future Industries Fire Ferrets are the top team. The team showed off their bending and shot fire, earth and water at photos of Tahno and when they saw the pictures being destroyed it brought smirks on their faces meaning that cannot wait to wipe the floor with him and his team.

Korra: Yes! Whoo, man I got a good feeling about tonight. I don't care we are the underdogs, we can take those pompous Wolt Bats.

Mark: hey don't let all of this get in your head Korra, besides you need the time focus more on your skills because what I can tell is that Tahno and his Wolf Bats wont back down so easily.

Mako: He's right, it's going to be our toughest match ever but for once Korra I think you're right.

Bolin: Introducing your new champs, The Fantastic Fire Ferrets!

All of sudden the moment came to a halt when all of sudden the radio changed to Amon's voice that got both Korra, Mark, Mako and Bolin's attention.

Amon(Radio): Good morning, citizens of Republic City. This is Amon, I hope you all enjoyed last nights pro bending match because it will be the last. It's time for this city to stop worshipping bending athletes as if they were heroes. I am calling on the council to shut down the bending arena and cancel the finals or else...there will be severe consequences.

Mark: Son of a bitch.

Bolin: That guys got some nerve!

Mako: Korra you think the council will give in?

Korra: I am not waiting to find out.

Mark: I agree with Korra, we need to get to city hall. Korra is Tenzin at city hall with the other council members.

Korra: He is mark.

Mark: Then we need to get there quick.

Mark, Korra, mako, and Bolin arrived at The City Hall.

Mark: come on let's go see the council members so we can discuss terms on the pro bending games.

When they were near the doors of city hall, Korra opened the door to see Tenzin along with the council members even Tarrlock of which they weren't excepting to see the Avatar not even Mark as well as the bending brothers.

Tenzin: Korra and Mark, you two shouldn't be here, this is a close meeting.

Mark: Just hear Korra out Tenzin there is something she wants to say to you and everyone else.

Korra: Thank you Mark, as the Avatar and a pro bending player I have a right to be heard. You can't cancel the finals.

Tenzin: I know winning the championship mean a lot to you, but as far as I'm concerned, need to shut the arena down.

Korra: What about the rest of you? Tarrlock there's no way you're backing down from Amon, right?

Tarrlock: Actually, Tenzin and I agree, for once.

Tenzin: The council is unanimous we're closing the arena.

Mako: No!
