This story is Rhelia Sands, the bastard daughter of Obryen Martell, raised by her adoptive mother, Ellaria Sand.
-Rhelia Sands' story will be told in both present and past. This may become confusing, so throughout the story, I will leave markers telling you what is present and what is a flashback
Rhelia Sands was born during the siege of Kings Landing in Robert's Rebellion. Her timeline is a bit confusing, so I'll try to help make sense of it. When Prince Doran decides he does not want war with the Lannisters, he sends his bastard niece as an Ambassador of Peace,
Rhelia is not a sand snake. She is favored by her uncle Doran Martell who legitimizes her as a true princess of Dorne. He sends her to Westeros at a young age to study with the other kingdoms of Westeros and too eventually join Kings Landing Court. It is important you remember she travel through the other kingdoms and lives and learns from them. (It'll make sense when you, as you read along), she is tutored and taken into the care of Jon Arryn while at Kings Landing.
