Preparing for the Dance Night(Later that day, Chloe and her friends are discussing the upcoming dance in the art club room.)
Chloe: I heard the dance is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to go with you guys.
Jane: It’s going to be great. We’ll all have a fantastic time together.
Ethan: I’m thinking of asking Vanessa to go with me. Do you think she’ll say yes?
Chloe: I think she will. You should definitely ask her.
(Neon and Ken enter the room, looking concerned.)
Neon: Hey, Chloe, can we talk to you for a second?
Chloe: Sure, what’s up?
Ken: We overheard Jessa and her friends in the cafeteria. They’re planning something for the dance, and it’s aimed at you.
Chloe: (sighs) I knew they wouldn’t let this go. What are they planning?
Neon: We’re not sure of all the details, but we’ll make sure they don’t succeed. We’ve got your back.
Chloe: Thanks, Neon. I’m so grateful for all of you.
(The night of the dance arrives, and the school gym is beautifully decorated with hearts and lights. Chloe and her friends arrive together, ready to enjoy the evening.)
Chloe: This looks incredible. I’m so glad we came.
Jane: Stick with us, Chloe. We’ll make sure nothing ruins this night.
(Meanwhile, Jessa and her group are gathered near the entrance, whispering and watching Chloe and her friends.)
Jessa: Remember the plan. We’ll wait for the right moment to strike.
Bryan: Got it, Jessa.
Bea: Can you believe how quickly she’s fitting in? It’s like she’s forgotten she’s the new girl.
Jessa: It’s infuriating. And did you see how Neon, Ethan, and the others are always around her? They act like she’s some kind of queen.
Bea: We need to remind her who’s in charge around here. But we can’t be too obvious. Neon’s already onto us.
Jessa: Yeah, and I don’t want to deal with his attitude again. We need to be smart about this.
(As the night progresses, Chloe is having a great time dancing and talking with her friends. Ethan successfully asks Vanessa to dance, and they both look happy together. Neon and Ken keep a watchful eye on Jessa and her group.)
Neon: We need to stay close to Chloe. They’re up to something.
Ken: Agreed. Let’s make sure they don’t get the chance to pull anything off.
(Suddenly, Jessa makes her move. She signals to Bryan and Axel, who start causing a commotion near the refreshment table, drawing everyone’s attention. Jessa sneaks towards Chloe, ready to embarrass her in front of everyone. However, Neon intercepts her just in time.)
Neon: Not tonight, Jessa. It’s time to stop this.
Jessa: (angrily) Get out of my way, Neon!
Neon: No. This ends now. If you keep this up, I’ll make sure everyone knows who’s behind it.
(Jessa glares at Neon, but realizing she’s outnumbered and outmatched, she backs down.)
Jessa: Fine. But this isn’t over.
(Neon watches as Jessa retreats, then turns back to Chloe, who’s unaware of how close she came to being humiliated.)
Chloe: Is everything okay?
Neon: Yeah, everything’s fine. Let’s get back to the dance.
(The group rejoins the party, and Chloe feels a wave of relief, knowing her friends have her back. The night continues without further incident, filled with laughter and joy.)
(The next day, Chloe and her friends meet up in the courtyard, reflecting on the dance.)
Jane: Last night was amazing. I’m so glad everything went well.
Ethan: Me too. Vanessa even agreed to go on a date with me.
Chloe: I had the best time. Thanks to all of you for making sure nothing went wrong.
Neon: Anytime, Chloe. We’re your friends. We’ve got each other’s backs.
Chloe: And I’m so grateful for that. This place really feels like home now.
(They all smile, feeling a strong bond of friendship and knowing that together, they can face anything that comes their way.)
(The group of Jessa, Matthew, Axel, Bea, Bryan, and Martin are gathered in a secluded corner of the cafeteria, discussing the previous night's events.)
Matthew: Oh, Jessa, I thought your plan would be a success. What happened?
Axel, Bea, Bryan & Martin: (laughing) Hahahaha! Jessa, what happened to our fearless leader?
Jessa: (scowling) Shut up, all of you! Neon and Ken interfered. They ruined everything.
Bea: So what’s our next move? We can’t just let that nerdy girl get away with it.
Jessa: My next plan will succeed, trust me. I'm not done with that nerdy girl; I'll put her in her place.
