Chapter 11: The Art of Coordination

After a short tactical meeting between a few members of the Bastard Munchen team, Noa stood up from the bench and called out Isagi. “Isagi, it’s your turn. Get ready to go in.”

The announcement sent a ripple of tension through the team. He has been anxiously waiting for his chance to prove himself, then he quickly stood up with a determination on his face.

As he prepared to step onto the field, Kaiser approached him, eyes cold and a smirk playing on his lips. “So they’re actually putting you in, huh? Try not to embarrass us.” Isagi met Kaiser’s gaze “I’m here to win, no matter what you think.” Kaiser scoffed, “We’ll see if you can actually back up your big talk, Yoichi.”

Isagi jogged onto the field, his eyes scanning the play. The game resumed, and he immediately immersed himself. Chigiri on the other hand, who just returned to his position after the goal, noticed Isagi’s sudden presence. “Isagi? I thought you would never play again.”

Isagi grinned. “Things change. I’m here to win.” Nagi, standing nearby, gave Isagi a bored look. “Just don’t get in my way.”  Isagi’s eyes narrowed “I wouldn’t dream of it.”

RESTART!

The restart started with Kaiser's ball. His intentions to do everything to make sure the opposing team won't end up victorious.

He looked behind him, his eyes locked on Ness' gaze. With a swift motion, he passed the round object to his feet.

As Ness received the ball, he immediately locked his target on Riku. “Hey wolf boy, look out.”

Riku turned his head to see Ness as he ran, their eyes making contact with each other.

Ness passes the ball over to Riku who then sends the ball towards Chouka's direction.

The feminine pink head already ran past a few opponents, before receiving the sphere object with zero difficulty.

The raven hair accelerated his pace to reach him. The unexpected duo then starts exchanging passes to each other as they get through more players from the opposing team.

Meanwhile from the defense line of Bastard Munchen's team. A blue eyed male was left wondering, why did Noel Noa put him in this position?

'Why...?'

Back to the motion further up the field. The ball was in Riku's possession, as a familiar head of red hair suddenly blocked his way.

Riku definitely was not going to let this red panther block his path. The feminine red haired male gazed into Riku's eyes, he really changed along the way.

“Well isn’t it the wolf boy, you know that panthers and wolves are enemies right?” Chigiri said, which made Riku grit his teeth slightly.

“Mhm, I know that. Wolves really hate panthers, especially ones that look like you.” Riku insulted back.

"You're just jealous cause I look good" Chigiri moved in swift movements that made his silky hair sway.

“Oh please, Sometimes I wonder if that’s even your real hair or not. It doesn’t look so natural.” Riku smirked as he read Chigiri's movements.

"Well you're clearly blind and a dumbass at the same time. Your skill issues so bad you can't even tell what's natural and what's fake. Wolf boy."

He and Chigiri stared down at each other. While he had him distracted, Riku passed the ball right to Chouka. Chigiri’s look of shock brought satisfaction to the male.

He likes seeing them lose. “Oh sorry, what were you talking about me being blind again? Pfft, negative a thousand aura. Ginger fem boy.” Riku said back with a cold tone.
