Chapter 7: Pre-game

The atmosphere in the PXG changing room was tense as the players gathered for a meeting about tomorrow's match against Ubers. Everyone was focused, knowing that this game could define their season. Coach Loki stood at the front, arms crossed, his expression stern.

"Listen up, everyone," Loki began. "Tomorrow's match is critical. We need to be at our best. I've watched the tapes of Ubers, and they are no joke. We need to stay sharp and work as a team."

As Makoto gets ready, a thought appears in his mind “What if I embarrass myself? What if people laugh at me?..” Makoto sighs as he looks down at the floor.

“I guess I’ll have to be confident…” He says to himself as he then looks at the others.

‘What the hell is happening?’ He thought as he looked at Rin and Shidou fighting over something stupid.

“Fight! Fight!” Karasu and Charles shout out as Loki tried to stop them but he couldn't. He then looks at Karasu and Charles before yelling at them. “Be quiet!”

Makoto came up to Shidou and Rin, looking at them as he spoke up. “Can you guys stop fighting and focus?”

Shidou looks at Makoto before replying back to him. “Why is that so? He started it, it’s not my fault that he’s emo and his brother left him.”

Makoto replies to him “Maybe he misses him or he’s really sad?” Shidou raised an eyebrow “And how do you know that?”

Elias interfered “He knows because it's obvious? Don't be an asshole, you damn roach.”

Shidou rolls his eyes and looks away from Elias as he chuckles before looking back at him and speaking up “And who are you to call me that? You emo 2.0 looking ass.”

Shidou and Rin continued to fight until Loki had enough, walking over to them and grabbing their collars as he yelled at them “Can you two stop fighting?!”

“Let go of me!” Rin shouted as Shidou masnickered at him. “Aww, is little Rinrin mad?” Shidou mocks him.

Loki puts a hand on his forehead before looking at them “Whatever, you two stop fighting and focus on what are you gonna do in the next match with Ubers.” He lets go of their collars before walking away.

Shidou gave Rin a dirty look before walking away. Meanwhile, Loki was feeling extremely frustrated because of them.

Makoto glanced at them before walking away as well, leaving Rin and Elias alone.
A thought then appeared in his mind “Why am I even in this place anyway..?”

Meanwhile on the other side, everyone else is just talking and planning on what to do in the next match against Ubers.

“I should probably think about the match.” Makoto thought to himself as Elias approached Makoto before surprising him, scaring the shit out of him.

“What was that for?!” Makoto yelled, pissed off as Elias giggled quietly. “Surprise.”

Makoto rolls his eyes as he looks away from Elias before turning back at him. “If I get a heart attack then it’s your fault.” He said in a grumpy tone.

“Yeah yeah, whatever.” Elias replied back with a chuckle.

Makoto and Elias continued to talk when they suddenly heard a familiar voice coming from one of the benches inside the locker room… It was Rin.

“Can you two be fucking quiet?.. You guys are so damn noisy.” Rin complained in an annoyed voice as he closed his eyes.

“Calm down Rin, you don’t have to be so grumpy..” Elias said as he snickered at Rin.
