If in death I find redemption

To death, I brawled, like a bird forbidden to fly,
I'm suffocating, and it hardens my breath,
For ages, I've longed to see the distant sky,
But numbness sinks me into this eternal grief.

Until the bright sun peeks above the horizon,
I have travelled far to find myself released.
And as the breeze whispers its gentle seasons,
I'd hurt myself to see the light I once glimpsed.

So I let the venomous beasts devour me,
have drank all the poisonous liquors I saw.
Enjoy the pain 'til I finally relinquished.
'Cause if death is the only way prepared for me…

— I'll go.
