Felix's POV
Felix adjusted his tie, checking his reflection in the polished glass doors of the luxurious skyscraper. The EHYM Corporation had trained him well for moments like this: the initial encounter where everything began. He took a deep breath, mentally reviewing his plan to win over Hyunjin, one of the wealthiest men in the city.
"Showtime," he whispered to himself as he stepped inside.
The lobby was an architectural marvel, all sleek lines and sophisticated decor. Felix felt a twinge of nerves but pushed it aside. He had a job to do.
At the front desk, he flashed a charming smile at the receptionist. "Good morning. I have a 10 AM meeting with Mr. Hyunjin."
The receptionist, a young woman with a polite smile, checked her computer and nodded. "Mr. Hyunjin is expecting you. The elevator to the top floor is right this way."
Felix thanked her and made his way to the elevator. As he ascended, he couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation. This was it – the beginning of his biggest assignment yet.
The elevator doors opened to reveal an office that could only be described as opulent. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered a breathtaking view of the city, and the room was furnished with exquisite taste. At the center stood Hyunjin, his back to Felix, looking out over the skyline.
Hyunjin turned as Felix approached, a slight smile playing on his lips. He was even more striking in person – tall, with an air of confidence and a piercing gaze that seemed to look right through Felix.
"Mr. Hyunjin," Felix began, extending his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
Hyunjin's handshake was firm. "Felix, welcome. Please, have a seat."
As Felix settled into the plush chair opposite Hyunjin's desk, he felt the weight of the task ahead. He needed to gain this man's trust, make him fall in love, and then – Felix pushed the thought aside. Focus on the present.
"Thank you for taking the time to meet with me," Felix said, channeling his most sincere tone. "I'm really excited about the potential collaboration between our companies."
Hyunjin nodded, but his expression was unreadable. "I've heard good things about you, Felix. Your reputation precedes you."
Felix smiled, inwardly bracing himself. "I hope I can live up to it."
For the next half hour, they discussed business, with Felix carefully laying the groundwork for their professional relationship. He was charming, knowledgeable, and attentive – everything he needed to be. But beneath the surface, he couldn't ignore the growing attraction he felt for Hyunjin. This was supposed to be a game, a strategy, but sitting here with Hyunjin, it felt dangerously real.
As the meeting wrapped up, Hyunjin stood and extended his hand again. "I'm looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together, Felix."
Felix shook his hand, meeting his gaze. "Me too, Mr. Hyunjin."
Walking out of the office, Felix felt a mix of relief and anxiety. The first step had been taken, but he knew the path ahead was fraught with complications. He had six months to make Hyunjin fall for him, and he couldn't afford to let his own feelings get in the way.
But as he left the building, Felix couldn't shake the feeling that this assignment would change everything.
