You're a Stellaron Hunter. The 9th, actually. You recently joined, because of your incredible affective curse. Every Hunter praises you, yet you find yourself useless. You know too much, and you can't change your decesion...
As you entered a wooden office, it was nighttime. A black cat was sitting in front of you, and a dark pink haired woman stood in front of you. As the cat meowed and growled, the woman translated it for you.
"So~, Elio has decided. He has a way to get rid of your curse. Only if you join the Stellaron Hunters. As the 9th." She placed a chip and a notebook before you.
"What do you say?~"
You gladly took it, and nodded, as the eyes of the cat followed you.

You woke up in a cold sweat. Panting, you looked around the room. It was only with a bed and wooden drawers. Luckily, you were living rent free in this room. The moonlight was the only source of light. A cold breeze entered from the balcony, and you stood up. Your messy hair blocked the view, so you moved it away. A black cat with soft blue eyes purred at your approach. You stopped. A black cat. Elio? No. No, no, no, no, no, no. He promised he would leave you at your own freedom. Neither the less, you picked up the cat. It was so thin and light. You went down to the kitchen, and found some tuna. As the black cat licked its whiskers and ate, you simply watched it. There was a blue collar on its neck. After it ate, you picked it up and went to sleep with it.
The next day, you woke up, and the black cat was sitting on your lap, asleep. He woke up, yawning, and cuddled next to you for pets. You were a cat lover, so yep, you started to pet it. You got dressed and went to breakfast, the cat holding his perch either in your shoulder or head. Yunli and Yanqing were already talking, and March was eating her breakfast. She looked up to you, and her expression was lightly surprised.
"Oh, [Y/ N], you got--" She pointed at your shoulder.
"Yeah, I adopted him unofficially. His name will be...Elio." You said.
"Isn't that the Stellaron Hunter's leader name?" Yunli asked, folding her arms before you.
"Also, isn't he somebody else's? Surely that collar explains it." Yanqing included himself in this conversation.
"Yes, but the collar didn't show any names. And, the leader always reminded me of a black cat, lurking in the shadows." You said, and you sat down to eat breakfast, then left in a hurry.
You returned to that same river current. A shallow river surrounded by tall bamboo trees was sitting between two slopes of land. If you followed that river, a mini waterfall flowed in the springs, and the river would reach the top of your head, fully submerging you. It was a magical place. Branches of bamboo made a roof, with slight rays of sunlight entering this little paradise, where birds chirped and the waves flowed freely, crashing on the rocks. You took off your shoes and socks, lifted your new skirt(i'll talk about appearance later), left the cat in the nearby log, and stepped in the cold and crystal clear water. You lifted your arm above your head, and closed your eyes. You started dancing, the one that Yunli taught, and the water flowed your movement smoothly. You were laughing until a familiar voice broke your laughter.
"Wow, you look happier than ever, [Y/ N].~" Your leader's voice broke your thoughts.
"E-elio....?" You asked, and your dance stopped. Everything seemed silent and paused. You turned around.
A boy with light pink hair sat there where the cat used to be. He had a blue to crimson jacket with short blue pants. He had a black collar and a black hair accessory on the side. Light blue eyes opened and stared at yours in an uncomfortable way. Like Kafka. A black bowtie blocked you from seeing a white blouse on his chest. He was clapping slowly and lightly.
"W-what are you doing here..?!" You backed away, alarmed.
"Relax [Y/ N]. I'm not here to hurt you further." He said, and got up, slowly walking towards you. When you were facing each other, he took your heavy arm and held it.
"Get away from me..!" You said. Something made you mad at him.
"Predictable." He suddenly took your arms and held them next to his, making your back like a bridge. It was uncomfortable. His welcoming eyes suddenly turned cold as ice.
"You're gonna listen to me without giving me any static. If you know what's best for you, follow my orders." He said, and his voice turned cold blue.
"!" You only flinched. At the state he was in, you decided it was best to play by his rules. You looked away, and he loosened his grip on you. It was now calm.
"Firefly has been bad recently. If you want to, help her." He said. You cared about Firefly, so you gave in.

After that day, you and that cat have been closer. It always wanted pets from you. Even though it's Elio, you could tell that he was alone. You would always shout at him when he either licked you hand or arm for attention. Well, you kinda enjoyed it, but not head over heels. Only when nobody was around, you'd let him turn back human
