Also one more thing before this starts that I forgot to mention: This is mostly gonna be in third-person-limited! Yips!!

———————————————————

[??? POV]

Empty, that had been all he had ever felt. Even if he had been much more full then he'd originally thought, he still felt hollow.

When he had first arrived, he felt empty.

When Rainbow 'saved' him (if you could even call it that), he felt empty.

When Rainb- no, Twisted Rainbow betrayed him, he felt empty.

When the Elite supposedly saved him, he felt empty.

When he saw the Elite hurting those innocent steves, he felt empty.

When he met The First Curse, he felt empty.

When he found out his own UNIVERSE was inside of him, he felt empty.

He had wanted nothing but to understand, take revenge, and feel full. But, even after destroying the universe and everything in it.

He still felt ᒷᒲ!¡ℸ ̣ ||.

Maybe he wanted someone to fill his emptiness, or possibly just understand him instead of using him like everyone else. He wanted to justify his actions, his insanity... Yet, he couldn't bring himself to do it. He hurt so many, for what? His anger? Still, when he thought of it, he'd chuckle about how weak and pathetic they were!

Y'know what he wanted most? Someone to trust, someone to trust him.. Though he doubted he would ever even want to trust someone again. Especially not after The First Curse had betrayed him like that. He could remember exactly how it went...

[One hour earlier]

"Ugh! Why will none of these portals work for me!? Even with the power of the core!!" His voice squeaked at the word 'core', it was always funny to him when someone so powerful had a moment of weakness within their voice. He remembered the feeling of The First Curse glaring at him, as if he had been looking directly into his soul. After all, that's probably most definitely something that The First Curse could do anyways. He saw The First Curse smirk. "You trust me, right?"

"Of course?" He had replied with. Wrong move. "Why?"

"These portals, here in the Crossroads.. Maybe they can only be accessed by a version of the original..." The First Curse said in a not-so-surprisingly ominous voice.

"What are you implying!?" He yelled, his voice laced with anger.

"I want you to go and destroy your original." The First Curse had said flatly.

"Pardon!!? Yeah uh- No, I'm NOT doing that. I had business with this universe, not anywhere else."

"That's the thing, you don't have a choice. Goodbye, Sabre."

"Wait stop-" That's all he could say before being pushed into the largest portal in the Crossroads.  Sabre had begun to scream going through, it felt as if his soul was being sucked out of his body. But he just assumed that was normal for portal transportation.

And that's how he was where he was now. Floating in the abyss and about to be in the original universe. He felt different, sick and tired. Maybe it the fact he was traveling to another universe, or maybe it was how weak he felt right now... Whatever it was, it didn't matter. What did matter was that he was he was going to be physically present in a universe, something he most definitely did NOT want.

If they knew who he was, what he did... They would HATE him.. They probably already knew What he had done and told everyone or, well, something of the sorts. As he was thinking those thoughts, that's when he felt and saw the last snap.

So you see, Sabre had been connected to a series of strings holding him back to the Crossroads. And now that the last one snapped, he felt another surge of energy and his vision went white; Sabre was going to be in another universe...

All Sabre knew was that after The First Curse betrayed him like that, he was never going to trust a living soul again...
