The first day of the fall semester at Everwood International University buzzed with the vibrant energy of returning students. The historic campus, with its ivy-covered brick buildings, stood in striking contrast to the modern glass structures of the science departments. The air was filled with excitement and the crisp scent of autumn leaves, marking the beginning of another academic year.

Arthur Stuart stepped out of his car, adjusting his backpack as he looked around the bustling campus. Tall and athletic, with piercing hazel eyes, Arthur exuded a quiet confidence that made people take notice. He was the captain of the basketball team, a position that came with its own set of expectations and pressures. As he made his way towards the dorms, his best friends Milo and Dylan joined him.

"Ready to dominate another semester, captain?" Milo asked, his wavy brown hair tousled and carefree.

"Always," Arthur replied with a smirk.

Dylan, always seen with a cap on, chimed in, "Yeah, let's just hope the new freshmen can keep up with us on the court."

The trio made their way through the crowded pathways, greeting familiar faces and exchanging high-fives. Despite their reputation as playboys, they were known for their loyalty and camaraderie. As they approached the main quad, they spotted the unmistakable trio of Madison Beer, Alexa Demie, and Madelyn Cline making their grand entrance.

Madison, with her long dark hair and confident stride, led the way. Her hazel eyes scanned the crowd, already commanding attention. Alexa followed, her bold fashion choices and fierce demeanor making her equally intimidating. Madelyn, striking with her softer side hidden beneath a tough exterior, completed the trio. The whispers of admiration and fear followed them as they walked, solidifying their status as the campus mean girls.

"Looks like the queens have arrived," Dylan muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Yeah, and they've got the whole school under their spell," Milo added, his tone half-amused, half-disgusted.

Arthur, however, barely glanced their way. He had more important things on his mind. Like his girlfriend, Aiah, who was waiting for him by the Psychology building.

Aiah's warm brown eyes lit up when she saw Arthur. She waved, and he quickened his pace, a genuine smile spreading across his face. Despite his cold exterior, Aiah brought out a softer side of him that few people got to see.

"Hey, you," Aiah greeted, standing on her tiptoes to kiss him on the cheek.

"Hey, yourself," Arthur replied, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "Ready for another year of fun?"

"And stress, don't forget the stress," Aiah teased, her gentle demeanor contrasting with the chaos around them.

They walked into their first class, Introduction to Psychology, and found seats next to each other. As the professor began outlining the course, Arthur and Aiah exchanged excited whispers about their plans for the semester. They were both eager to dive into their studies and make the most of their time at Everwood.

As the professor droned on about the syllabus, Arthur's mind wandered to the upcoming basketball season. The pressure to perform was immense, but he thrived under it. His thoughts were interrupted by Aiah nudging him gently.

"Hey, you spaced out," she whispered, smiling.

"Just thinking about practice later," he whispered back, squeezing her hand. "Gotta make sure we're ready to crush it this season."

Aiah nodded, her eyes shining with understanding. "You'll do great, as always."

Lunchtime brought a different kind of buzz to the cafeteria. Arthur, Milo, and Dylan grabbed a table near the windows, joined by Aiah, Mikha Lim, and Jennifer. Mikha, with her long stylish hair and confident presence, brought a lively energy to the group. Jennifer, always impeccably dressed and vibrant, added her own flair to the mix.
