"Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria, there were two regal sisters who ruled together and created harmony for all the land.

To do this, the eldest used her unicorn powers to raise the sun at dawn; the younger brought out the moon to begin the night. Thus, the two sisters maintained balance for their kingdom and their subjects, all the different types of ponies. But as time went on, the younger sister became resentful.

The ponies relished and played in the day her elder sister brought forth but shunned and slept through her beautiful night. One fateful day, the younger unicorn refused to lower the moon to make way for the dawn. The elder sister tried to reason with her, but the bitterness in the young one's heart had transformed her into a wicked mare of darkness: Nightmare Moon.

She vowed that she would shroud the land in eternal night. Reluctantly, the elder sister harnessed the most powerful magic known to ponydom: the Elements of Harmony. Using the magic of the Elements of Harmony, she defeated her younger sister, and banished her permanently in the moon.

The elder sister took on responsibility for both sun and moon, and harmony has been maintained in Equestria for generations since."

Aurelia finishes reading the section of the book.

"Are you done, Reli? I wanna do something else," Sea Twister complains, walking up to Aurelia and closing her book.

"Am I ever done? I want to find out more about the Elements of Harmony," Aurelia stands up, looking around her library. "I overheard Polaris talking about them while writing a letter to someone the other day, and I'm curious..."

Sea Twister groans, "C'mon, we're wasting precious time! We could be doing something more productive!"

Sea Twister follows Aurelia around the library, watching the younger pony struggle to find her book.

"Yeah, yeah... Ah-ha! Found you," Aurelia says happily, using her magic to remove a book from her shelf. "Predictions and Prophecies..."

Sea Twister rolls her eyes, using her magic to steal the book from Aurelia.

"Hey!"

She turns and looks over at Sea Twister, who is flipping mindlessly through the upside-down book, "What is even useful in here? I'd rather go out into the world and experience all of this."

"Well," stars Aurelia, taking the book back suddenly with her magic and flipping it the correct way, "I'd much rather stay right here in Snowfall and read about knowledge."

Aurelia opens the book, muttering, "Elements."

The book opens to her desired page, and she sets the book down on a podium. Sea Twister looks over Aurelia's shoulder as she scans the page.

"Found it: Elements of Harmony..." Aurelia looks further down the page, "Mayor in the Moon?"

"Oh! That was my favorite pony tale from when I was little, like you!" Sea Twister teases, wandering over to a different bookshelf.

"Hey, you're only two years older than me!"

"Still older, and therefore wiser," Sea Twister smiles to herself, taking out a book from the shelf and bringing it to Aurelia. "Here ya go, Mare in the Moon."
