Wriothesley's POV

"So, are you going to tell me about this daughter of yours? I know pretty much everything there is to know about the melusines, but this kid you want to pick up is new territory for me." Furina said.

Translation: I demand to know what chaos you are trying to rope me into.

And she would be right to think that Lunice's very presence equals chaos.

"Hmm... How about I start with how we met then?"

That should give her a rough idea about Lucine's personality.

I feel awful. I didn't mean to snap at Neuvillette like that.

But seriously! He works way too much!

Fontaine's stability or not, I should be able to at least see my husband once a day!

I clicked my tongue in annoyance as I kicked a rock to the side.

I had come all the way to the Weeping Willow to just went my frustration in peace but now I don't even feel like doing anything!

 So much for that.

 Tsk!

I was just about to kick another rock when I heard a panicked scream.

 What now?

Why the hell are there people all the way out here in the middle of nowhere now of all times?

Still, I turned to go in the direction of the sound hoping that I would at least find something or someone to punch.

 And I found something alright.

A group of battered treasure hoarders all curled up against a rock wall looking fearfully at the young girl standing across from them.

"Argh! Damn it! I come all the way out here just so I can have a moment of peace and quiet to sleep, and you useless bunch just had to come, and what? Try and rob me?!" She shouted angrily.

Well, this is certainly not what I was expecting.

 That girl...

She's quite adorable. This fiery personality makes me think of Sigewinne. They would probably get along well.

Possibly team up to bully people.

By the time I arrived at this conclusion, the treasure hoarders were already running with their tails between their legs and the girl's attention turned to me.

As she turned around I locked eyes with a pair of eyes very similar in color to mine though clearly inhuman. The pupils were slitted. Much like Neuvillette's

"Oh! The dragon's pet." She exclaimed in recognition.

 ...

"Excuse me?" I managed to spit out after a moment.

"The dragon. The Iudex. Chief Justice Neuvillette or whatever. Are you not his pet- Sorry, husband, was it?"

What the hell am I supposed to answer to that?!

I can't really say no since my damn picture has been all over the papers for ages now, but if I say yes I would be confirming that Neuvillette is a dragon.

"Well, it doesn't really matter. Just tell me whether or not you are gonna leave anytime soon so I can go back to sleep." She interrupted my line of thought.
