Niyati had no energy to get out of the bed when the doorbell rang for the nth time now.
She thought whoever it would be, would leave when she won't open the door but it wasn't the case.
She got up from the bed only to sit back on the bed when she had to sneeze and the doorbell rang again.
"I swear I'm going to kill anyone who's on the door." She muttered under her breath and before she could get up form the bed, her phone rang.
She scowled before she picked up the phone and frowned looking at the contact.
She swiped it green and placed it near her ear and before she could say anything, the man on the other side spoke.
"Are you alright? Why aren't you opening the gate, I'm waiting here for last 10 minu-
"Geez shut up. I'm pregnant and-
Her words were followed by a sneeze and before she could complete the sentence, she heard Shivam's voice again.
She took a tissue and wiped her nose before she got up from the bed.
"Are you not well? Open the gate please. I'm damn worried." She closed her eyes and inhaled a deep breath to calm herself down.
The pregnancy hormones, than her cold and on the top of that she wanted to rest but here, he appeared on her doorstep again. And not to forget the constant kicks of the baby because of her sneezing were surely irritating.
"Aa rhi hu." She said before she hung up the phone.
(Coming.)
It was almost 9 in the morning as she glanced at the wall clock.
Slowly moving to the gate while holding her belly, she opened the gate and another sneeze followed.
"God, you're sick and you didn't inform anyone out there." Shivam said and extending his hand to keep it on her forehead to check the temperature.
"Shit, you're having a fever." He mumbled and looked at her with concern.
"I'll be fine. Why are you here? Something important?" She asked him, stepping a little back until Shivam realised that he had to remove his hand from her forehead.
"There's nothing more important than you at the moment." He said and walked inside the house without asking her.
"Where are you going?" She asked, turning back to look at him who stopped on his tracks.
"I'm sure you didn't eat anything. You need to eat and then take the medicine. How careless you can be, Niyati."
He shook his head and moved inside the house, crossing one boundary unaware of the fact that it could lead to more boundaries between them.
