Shivam rushed out of his house as soon as he heard her sobbing and rang the doorbell.

His blood turned cold as soon as he heard her crying voice and asking for the help.

"Niyati, aap thik hai na?" He asked in a concerned voice and waited for her to open the door but in return, heard her helpless pleadings.

(Niyati, are you okay?)

"Shivam....my baby...P-please save.....save.my baby." A deep and shallow breath followed her words and he gulped down with fear.

He rang the doorbell again hoping for her to open the door but when she didn't, he hung up the call and tossing his phone into his pocket, pushed the door with all his strength.

He didn't know what was happening behind this door but her voice, her sobs shattered his heart.

With a few more forceful pushes, the lock of the door broke and he rushed into the house.

He heard her groaning and walked into her room. His heart sank into the pit of his stomach and a gasp left his mouth when he saw her all curled up on the ground, clutching her stomach in the pool of blood.

"Fuck." He cursed under his breath and rushed to her.

His throat went dry seeing her tears and yelp and for some seconds, he couldn't process what he was suppose to do.

She lifted her face to look at him, hearing the footsteps and looking into her tearful gaze, his heart ached.

"Can you take me to...." She squeezed her eyes shut as another cramp hit her and looked back at him. His heart clenched before he proceeded to kneel down in front of her.

"Hospital.." He heard her whispering. He didn't need to be told twice and nodded his head.

"I need to pick you up okay. Don't panic.." He told her before he slided his arms, one around her waist and another one around her knees before he picked her up in his arms.

"My baby.." He saw her crying in his arms as the fear of losing her baby creeped her heart.

Would it be wrong if he said that he was as scared as her. Of something happening to her, or something happening to the baby.

He couldn't lose any of these two. His heart felt heavy, he felt tears clouding his own eyes but he had to stay strong, he had to drive her to hospital and he had to be there for her.

"Kuch nhi hoga." He assured her but his own heart wasn't at peace.

(Nothing will happen.)

He was promising her but what if something happened to her or the baby?

How was he going to survive without them? He couldn't even think about it.

Now that he saw her in the pool of blood, that his heart shattered and chest tightened, he was sure these two souls were inseparable part of his life. Maybe he won't be able to live if something happened to them.

"Niya," He breathed out and looked into her eyes as he moved towards his car in the parking of the residency while her tearful gaze met his.

The gaze which held tears but some hope as well. A ray of hope that maybe he'd take her to hospital on time and her baby would survive.
