Andromeda ran through the halls of the palace, passing by servants, apologizes spewing from her lips as she ran by. "Sorry!" she called after bumping into a maid. She ran up the grand staircase and through the halls sliding around the corners as she went finally she skidded to a halt in front of a large mahogany door. Pushing it open, she quickly walked into the room. But before she could catch her breath she was yanked into her bathroom. "Where have you been? Do you know what time it is?"
"I'm sorry, Bianca. I lost track of time in the studio." The princess said apologizing to her lady's maid, her breath still heavy from running. "Yes, I can see that." the woman said pushing the girl into the bath. "Ah! It's freezing." Bianca raised her eyebrow in annoyance and scrubbed the paint off the princess's hands "Well, if you were here an hour ago when I drew the water then maybe it would be warm. Now we must make haste. You will already be late enough as it is." Andromeda huffed but stayed silent. She knew better than to argue with Bianca, she had been Andromeda's lady's maid for years. Bianca was a few years older than the princess and acted like an elder sister would.
Andromeda soon got out of the bath and went to her vanity to brush her hair, while Bianca picked out an outfit. Once that was done she made her way over to Andromeda, placed her tiara on her head, and twisted her long chocolate locks into an elaborate updo. Then put on some light makeup. "Okay, let's get you dressed and out the door." Bianca quickly took the elegant sparkling dress and helped Andromeda into it.
Once the Princess was done getting ready she quickly made her way out of her chambers and out to the front of the palace. There she got into the carriage that was awaiting her and quickly left for the presentation, where she knew her mother would be awaiting her.· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
The carriage pulled to a halt just outside the St. James palace. Andromeda gathered up her dress and took the hand of the awaiting footman, quickly exiting the carriage and making her way inside the doors. Once inside she rushed to the grand ballroom. She knew her mother would be overseeing the presentation.
