"I-You weren't supposed to be here for 20 more minutes!" I opened my apartment door after getting a text from my security team downstairs that Travis was here early.

"Hey to you, too," Travis replied walking through the door. "These are for you, pretty girl."

The prettiest bouquet of pink orchids with baby's breath and other white and pink filler flowers sprinkled throughout.

"Travis Kelce, you did not have to do all this, thank you," I wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him. It's crazy. We fit together so well, almost like it was meant to be.

"Anytime, Tay. I saw them on the way over here and had to stop to get them. They just screamed you."

He was right, orchids are my favorite flower.

I pulled away from him, taking the bouquet from his hands in one smooth motion.

"Tay..." he looked me in the eyes with a big grin on his face. "You have a little something righttttt here," he swiped at my nose taking a little bit of breakfast batter off my face that must have landed there when I put my mixer on too high of a speed earlier. "Whatcha making?"

"Well, you weren't supposed to be here for a little while. The plan was for all of this to be done before you got here," I said gesturing to the mess in my kitchen that is right off the entryway. "You can come in, by the way, my home is your home. Make yourself comfortable."

He did just that, sitting on the wicker stool on the other side of the marble-top kitchen island opposite of me.

"Is there anything I can help you with?"

I could feel his eyes on me as I reached into my cabinet for a vase to put the flowers in. My blue shirt rode up in the front just in the slightest as I reached for my favorite one in the back of the cupboard.

"Oh, no. Your job is to just sit there and look pretty," we both laughed. "I've got cinnamon rolls in the oven, waffles done, eggs going... I just need to cut up some fruit and then we're playing a waiting game with the oven timer."

"Taylor Swift, you did not have to do all this," he said mocking my earlier remark.

"Ha ha," I replied sarcastically. "I couldn't have you come all the way here and not at least try my cinnamon rolls, the rest... well I was up early and couldn't help myself."

"Up early, huh? You were that excited for me to come over this morning?"

"Absolutely, in fact, I was counting down the minutes, no seconds." I grabbed the cutting board from the drawer, and a knife from my butcher block, before going into the fridge to grab strawberries and blueberries.

I turned my back for two seconds to cut up the fruit and suddenly I felt a new yet familiar presence close to me.

"You know I'm not going anywhere, right?" I asked as I felt two arms tightly wrap around my lower stomach.
