As the bus pulls in to Gampel, Olivia looks over at Paige, whose head is resting on her shoulders.

"Paige." she nudges her, "Wake up. We're here." she says quietly.

She wakes up, lifting her head up and rubbing her eyes. "That was quick. How long did I sleep?" she asks, her voice quiet and raspy.

Olivia found herself pausing to observe the sight in front of her. Paige, her hair messy and her eyes heavy. Olivia thought she looked cute.

With a sudden burst of confidence Olivia reached her hand out to move Paige's hair out of her face, to get a better look. She left her hand there, admiring her.

But almost immediately Olivia snaps out of this trance and quickly moves her hand away.

"Only an hour and a half." she says, laughing anxiously.

The girls towards the front of the bus start filing out slowly, as it seems most of them were also asleep.

"Did you sleep well?" Olivia asks. "Yeah, besides waking up to the occasional bump. Your shoulder made a nice pillow though." Paige said, with a small laugh.

"Not too bony?" she asks. "Nope, not at all. I was very comfortable." Paige says, reassuring her.

Seeing the girls around them begin to get head out of the bus, they ended the conversation with a quick laugh and smile, and Olivia got out of her seat.

She let Paige gather her things and get up from her seat before reaching up towards the overhead in attempt to get the med kit, which she had placed up there.

It seemed to have slid back, out of Olivia's reach during the bus ride. She wouldn't consider herself short, but at 5'5 this looked to be a little bit out of her reach.

Olivia stands, trying to figure out how to get this bag down without bothering anyone one asking for help.

I got it up there, I can get it down she thinks.

On her tippy toes, she reaches up, her fingertips grazing the bag but not close enough to grab it.

Her next plan of action is to stand on a seat, when she hears a familiar voice in her ear.

"Need some help?" Paige asks, sending a chill down her spine. Her voice low, despite being the only two left in the bus.

Honestly Olivia was surprised Paige hadn't left yet.

"Nope all good. I almost had it." she responds, reaching up again. For some reason she felt odd accepting Paige's help.

A part of her wanted to prove that she could figure this one out on her own.

Much to her dismay, she feels two hands on her hips, which could only belong to one person. She feels Paige beginning to lift her up, helping her grab the bag.

Placing her back onto her feet, "See that wasn't too hard." Paige says, giving her a pat on her waist before walking off the bus to join the rest of the team.

Shivers run down Olivia's spine again from the seemingly unconscious action from Paige. None of her other friends made her flustered the way Paige has lately.

Brushing it off, recollecting herself, and collecting her things Olivia exits the bus. She's met with some of the team, and hugs them all goodbye, congratulating them on their win. She's a little upset that she doesn't see Paige but brushes it off, knowing she'll see her again tomorrow.

She quickly makes a trip to the training room, dropping off the med kit for tomorrow's practice.

When she makes it back outside, everyone is gone. She finally reaches her car, which she now regrets parking so far back in the parking lot, and places her bag in the seat next to her.

Putting the key into the ignition, she waits for the car to start but it never does. This happens sometimes all I have to do is try again she thinks. But after 3 tries, the car still won't start.

She gets out her phone, wracking her brain trying to decide who would pick up at 1:00am that would also be willing to come pick her up.

For some reason the first person that comes to mind is Paige. So she hits call on Paige's number, and almost immediately her car is filled with the sound of Paige's voice coming from Olivia's phone.

"Liv, hi. Are you okay?" Paige's asks, her voice laced with care with a hint of worry. "Hey, yeah I'm fine, but my car won't start and I don't know what to do. I'm sorry to bother you, but I didn't know who else to call." her voice beginning to tremble.

"Liv, it's fine. I'm on my way back. We'll stay on the phone until I get there. Just give me 5 minutes." Paige says, her voice was now calm. She could hear the stress brewing in Olivia's voice.

"You're my savior, Paige." Olivia said, resting her head on the wheel with a sigh.

How do things like this always happen to me? Two vehicle break downs in one day has to be a new record.

The next five minutes mostly consist of silence, with Paige checking in on Olivia every so often to which Olivia hums in response.

"You still alright?" Paige asks. "Mhm still here." Olivia responds.

Finally Paige pulls up next to Olivia, ending the call she grabs her bag and her now useless keys and gets into Paige's car.

"Hi again." Paige says with a small smile. How could she still be so sweet at a time like this Olivia wondered.

Without giving Paige a response, Olivia pulled her into a hug, the best one she could give her with the center console in between them. Paige gladly reciprocated.

"I seriously cannot thank you enough. I owe you big time." Olivia says, once they're out of their hug. "It's really not a big deal. Don't worry about it." Paige responds.

"So...what do you want to do? Do you want me to take you to my place?" Paige asks.

Olivia thinks about it for a moment. Realistically, she could just tell Paige to drop her off at her apartment and that they would see each other tomorrow for practice, but a sleepover wouldn't hurt anybody. Plus she would hate to wake up her friends this late at night.

"Are you sure there's room for me? I could just go home." Olivia says, even though she has no desire to go back home.

"Yes, trust me we have room for you." Paige says, with a more firm tone and a more serious look than Olivia is used to seeing from her.

"Ok I'll go. Again, thank you so much Paige. You're literally an angel." Olivia says, resting her head on the headrest, meaning every word from the bottom of her heart.

"That's what friends are for. Now let's get out of here." Paige responds, with a smile, though it doesn't escape Olivia's sight that it isn't as bright as her usual grin.

Olivia can't quite pinpoint why hearing Paige say that made her heart clench a little, but she blamed it on the emotional roller coaster she has been through today and decided to leave it at that for now.
