My first sketches of Love Story -L. Valdez's [Name] [Last name]:

Drew this at school the moment I finished reading the first few chapters that was published at that time.

I had thought of them as ten to twelve year olds when I drew this so she looks quite young, made her older the next time I drew her after remembering they're 15 year olds.

Just as how I design/imagine most of my reader insert character, I start with my base and modify the look to fit the story.

Here's the base I've been using for almost 10 years now:

That doesn't mean this art is almost 10 years, I just drew this last year. Just your typical anime girl design, brown hair with middle parted bangs and blue eyes (cuz my favorite color). Body type is not fixed but I am trying hard to be fit (not really) so I would like the default skin to be physically fit.

I got lazy drawing this and just end up copying the base's pose but changed some things that I feel fit right to the story (she feels older than 15 though

I really like the idea of Andromeda becoming a major threat towards the gods that they banished her from their relm and change her story into a damsel-in-distress that we know now. And because of Gaea awakening she was sent back to the relm.

I also like the fact that both [Name] and (Y/n) uses their necklace as their weapon, it's really cool.

My problem with the story however, because (Y/n) is too op she is out of commission most of the time, specially in battles, and as much as I love the character and the plot that surrounded her, some of the scenes like the others pov are just straight out of the book, like, I don't mind rereading HOO but it would be nice seeing things through a new character's perspective - that character being (Y/n) despite her knowing the plot already. But I do love the scenes between her and Leo specially the last updated episode, I wish there would've been more but alas, it's probably been abandoned </3.

Notice how I try not to sabotage Leo's face but fail considerably

I originally planned only Leo for the cover of the story but realized I suck at drawing him and I don't have the guts to steal some other artists work for it.

In the end, I used one of the best scene from the story and get on with it (the one with the box in the far left corner).

Well, Triton did get to be the one taking over the sea kingdom someday but Poseidon did just left his castle to smithereens because Percy asked ( he did it because there's a chance in winning, I guess) and probably left Triton there as well.

And [Name] did get Malacia and has survived until now but I wonder if this kid has even seen her father even once?

At least both Triton and [Name] aren't that much discarded compared to their other siblings...
