Happy Birthday Mahi

The sun rays fell on Mahi's face and he opened his eyes and smile at the excitement he was feeling like a small kid. It was 6th July and he was well for the first time this much excited about his birthday as he remembered that his kiddos have promised him that they will celebrate his birthday just like they always used to do and Mahi was happy that they have accepted his retirement and now he was gonna meet them after almost a year.

Mahi got ready and came to hall with all smiling making Sakshi and Ziva looking at him surprisingly.

Sakshi: Kya baat hai aaj to koi bahut khush hai

Mahi: Yup

Ziva: Appa.. is there something brewing in your mind?

She asked scrutinizing her eyes  while Mahi chuckled.

Mahi: Nothing like that. Just excited for tomorrow. Last time My Bhaiyas and My Kiddos promised me that they will together celebrate my birthday. And it's almost the time. So your Appa is excited

Sakshi: Mahi.. tum bhi na.. kya itna excited ho rahe ho.

Mahi looked at her with frown.

Mahi: Tum to hamesha bolti rehti ho ki mujhe excited hona chahiye birthday ke liye aur jab iss baar main hoon to tum aise bol rahi ho

Sakshi looked at other side as she found Mahi was analysing her expressions. She tried to focus on feeding Ziva with breakfast but her nervousness.. her tension was visible on her face. As soon as Ziva's breakfast was done, Mahi said.

Mahi: Zivu.. go watch TV beta. You wanted to watch it na go..

Ziva happily went from there before Sakshi could stop her.

Sakshi: Main.. main sab andar rakh ke aati hoon

She said it quite fumbling and almost ran to kitchen. Mahi followed her and found her doing her work. He silently stood there. Sakshi while doing her work turned and was about to stumble with Mahi but stopped herself.

Sakshi: Mahi..

Mahi: Sakshi.. Just truth..

Sakshi: Mahi.. aisa.. aisa kuchh bhi nahi hai

She said it while looking here and there not meeting his eyes at all. Mahi was about to say something when they both heard Ziva screaming. They both got scared and ran to hall.

Mahi: Zivu..

Ziva: Appa.. see bade Papas and Chachus on TV

Mahi and Sakshi looked at TV and found it was a news channel showing pictures of Seniors older ICT and the current ICT teams.

Reporter: Jaisa ki humne bataya, sutro ke hawale se khabar mili hai ki purani ICT aur nayi ICT ke beech matbhed hue hai. Agar aise hi chalta raha to ho sakta hai ki kuchh current players suspend ho jaye aur unka cricketing career bhi khatam ho jaye. Unko iss discussion ka final decision maker banane Wale hai. Hala ki abhi tak koi confirmation hume M S Dhoni ki taraf se nahi mil raha lekin ek baat tay ho chuki hai ki seniors and juniors ab kabhi sath nahi aa sakte kyuki woh log sab ek dusare ko social media se block kar chuke hai aur ho sake utna door reh rahe hai public events me bhi.
