LOSERSON: FATE is a sequel to an original fictional story (LOSERSON) and sequels (LOSERSON: ODYSSEY; LOSERSON: SECRET EMPIRE; LOSERSON: INJUSTICE). This is the conclusion of the entire saga divided into three parts.
ABOUT THE STORY-MAKING
When I was writing this, I thought to myself, "How would the Loserson saga be like?" I originally thought of doing the "cinematic universe" route where the story still continues but having different characters tell different stories once the main character, or the main anchor in that instance, is sent off to either a good or bad spot. However I think I rather end it than to torture myself for eternity making LOSERSON 84: FOLIX AH MORB. (XD)
I have to refer to any movie that have their chapters closed, but I have been inspired by movies such as Avengers: Endgame, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (both parts), Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, and The Dark Knight Rises. The action sequences are heavily inspired by all John Wick movies, since an antagonic character, Wayne Wilson, is inspired by John Wick and DC Flashpoint's Thomas Wayne. Fun fact: Originally FATE is supposed to be a one part story, and the other two parts as a two-parter chapter with a different title. However I decide against it, since FATE is just a prequel to the next last chapter anyways, and that it's the first time a chapter has a three-parter (This is made before the announcement of Justice League: Crisis of Infinite Earths animated movies, which they done poorly now.)
The story has a complete darker tone than before, thanks to me watching a lot of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, so expect some mature elements. The theme has been split into three into each part of the story, but it all ties down to fate.
The first part's theme revokes around love and self-sacrifice, and how it defines a character's change and end in the journey. The "love" mentioned in this story isn't referring to a romantic attraction type, but as a giving of self for the benefit of others, even if it costs something. and to rebuild a relationship with others. It's easy to take heed of the wrong message from the wrong people, in an instance, everybody's favorite superhero show, "The Boys," who are deceiving eveyone that hate and violence is the way to stay superior. To love and forgive shows more humanity than hate and violence. Melody Newton is the most important character to show a positive trait, while the antagonists Wayne Wilson and Thomas Strike each demonstrate those opposite traits, with the former being sympathetic and the latter being much worse.
The second part is about moving on from the past, whether good or bad. An important weapon, being the OmniCube, is introduced as a fate-changer (literally), and both protagonists and antagonists have their motivations for personal reasons. For Julian's case, he tries to move on from the people he had lost but couldn't due to his guilt and trauma. He often thinks what fate would've been for his friends if he had died instead, and sought to change fate for his friends rather than himself. And for Arthur, it's his insecurity and pride that prevents him from moving on from his charity incident from the first story and still wants to relive his glory days - people worshipping him as an idol. Even if he gets what he wants, Arthur still isn't satisfied by his fate and wants to force everyone's fate to either love him or to be banished from his greatness. Lily's choices are conflicted whether she wants to change her fate. She has been running her whole life since her parents' deaths and tends to rewrite her fate to live peacefully. However her choice is conflicted because if she does that, she would not have met her new friends, especially Julian and Melody. Jeremy Snyder is the definition of "having moved on from the past" and is living happily with his wife Priscilla Berlock and two kids. However, as a true friend, he does help Julian to overcome his struggles.
The third part' theme is yet to be revealed, but we are getting there soon.
