"So what did they say" Kelly asked Rita as she reemerged after a long 5 hours at the governors house.

"They are denying all existence of the operation, assholes" Rita yelled as slammed the file down on the table in frustration.

*flashback*

The air in Caracas was thick, the heat penetrating her skin as Agent Bradley adjusted her linen top. She had been recruited straight out of the academy for 'Operation Orchid'—a mission deep in the heart of Venezuela's deadliest cartels. It was a covert mission, that even her very existence had been denied by the government.

Inessa, pulled her rich dark brown hair back into a tight bun as she stood with her team in a dimly lit safe house on the outskirts of the city. They were a ragtag group of seasoned operatives, except for Inessa.

Commander Thompson, a veteran with piercing blue eyes, addressed the team. "Alright, listen up. Operation Orchid is a go. Bradley, you're our eyes and ears on the inside."

Inessa nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. She had trained for this moment, but nothing could prepare her for the reality of what lay ahead.

The mission started smoothly for Elena as she integrated deep within the cartel's organisation. She assumed the role of a low-level dealer's girlfriend, playing her part with absolute precision to avoid any hint of suspicion. Days stretched into weeks as she meticulously gathered intelligence.

But her team pushed her too hard, demanding her to move quicker, to gain rank faster. The government wanted information and they wanted it quickly.

The sting of gunfire ripping through the safe house, the team falling one by one in a desperate firefight.

"I assure you that if this cartel found out about moles they would have been eradicated immediately" Armando spoke up.

"There's no record of their bodies in any local morgues" Dorn added, his focus deep on the ongoing investigation.

"Why would they have these files if they died, What purpose would it serve?" Kelly pondered, echoing Rita's sentiment.

"But even if they did survive, they sure as hell are in danger now, we don't know who saw those files before we got them" Rafe interjected.

A heavy silence settled over the room, broken only by the thoughtful gazes exchanged between Marcus and Mike. Twenty-five years of partnership allowed them to communicate volumes with just a glance.

"What are you two thinking?" Rita inquired, her eyes narrowing as she turned to the seasoned detectives.

"I guess we just gotta go to Venezuela"
