"So what did you mean" Amrando leaned against the frame of her door.

"Huh?" She asked as she got up from her bed, cutting her hospital bracelet off her wrist.

"I told you id find you" he said as he continued to stand there, the light behind him illuminating his figure.

"Armando, I'm tired" she sighed as she grabbed her clothes from the draw.

"Why'd you tell me if you weren't gonna explain" he defended.

She sighed to herself as she turned to face him, "sólo dime, please" (just tell me) he said to her before she could respond.

"Fine" she said as she pulled him into room and closing the door.

The man sat in the chair by the corner of her room as he watched her.

"Mikhail Sila, he is a cruel, evil man, who is only driven by power. But he was an even crueler father", her words shocked Armando, as did her actions, she peeled off her shirt, not caring that he was in the room.

"Mikhail Sila is your father?" Armando asked with a shocked tone, the girl pulling her tank top over her as she turned around and sitting on the edge of her bed, directly across from Armando.

"When I was little my father would tell me, power above all else" she mimicked a deep Russian accent. "He was obsessed with power, always reminding my family that he would do anything for power, anything for himself".

Inessa just looked sad as she sat there, Armando could tell there was something more beneath the surface that was hurting her, but he didn't pry.

"Sila, it's not even his real last name, he made it up, it means power. He wanted everyone to know that our family was the pinnacle of power in Russia," she almost stifled a laugh as she mocked the name.

"My father one day decided that it was my time to play my part in the family" a small tear slipped down her cheek, but her head faced down so that he couldn't meet her eyes. "He made me wear these dresses and makeup, and id sit in on meetings with the business partners" she stopped for a moment as she pushed her hair out of her face and looked up, "I was only 12 and my father sold me like a whore with his business deals".

Armando just looked at the girl in silence, he didn't know what to say, he had seen so much shit in his lifetime that nothing seemed to surprise him. He had been through so much pain, that he felt no emotions. But yet as he watched Inessa in front of him, he felt a pain in his chest that he couldn't explain.

"I learned to take it, that I was just doing my part, but when he started to dress my little sister up, I couldn't take it anymore, I just wanted to protect her" she sounded distraught, as more tears slipped down her face.

"I just wanted to protect them".
