It was dark outside, the sun setting hours ago, the team gathered as they got ready for their op. Inessa stood by the truck, double-checking her gear as the others trickled in.

Armando arrived first, paying no mind to the girl ahead of him, the two had not gotten on, and their tension was evident. She thought he was far too serious and he didn't think she was serious enough, at least not about the gravity of her situation, but who was he to care if she died anyway. His expression serious as he meticulously inspected his weapons and equipment.

Marcus bounced in next, his usual irreverent grin in place, as the rest followed. "Lovely evening tonight isn't it!" Marcus greeted Inessa, attempting to lighten the atmosphere.

Inessa managed a small confused smile in return, though her gaze flickered briefly to Armando, who just stared in front of him, his jaw clenched. "Man this guy does not relax" she thought to herself.

"Alright, team. Simple op, in and out, now loud noise." Rita spoke as the truck started.

The team hustled as they listened, each member strapping on vests, and checking their comms.

The team overlooked a shitty looking warehouse where a few guys stood on guard by the entrance smoking. Kids were being shoved in and out of the doors, malnourished and tired.

"Ok team we know the plan." Rita said as they circled around, putting their bandanas over their faces, "we go in, grab and bag them and then leave" she continued unaware that Inessa had already began her descent down the hill.

"Stop the operation and wait for the authorities to handle it," Rita concluded confidently.

"That could work, but she's already gone," Armando interjected, pointing ahead where Inessa was already nearing the front.

"Damn it, go!" Rita snapped, urgency in her voice as the team swiftly followed Inessa down the hill.

Inessa engaged instantly as she reached the cards, shooting all three, she got straight to the point waisting no time, as she kicked the door open.

"That don't look like grabbing and bagging to me" Marcus yelled as he fumbled to put his glasses on whilst trailing behind, "maybe body bagging".

When the team reached the warehouse they engaged instantly, Dorn ran for the big guy that guarded the exit, throwing punches and using his strength to subdue him, reaching for his pockets to grab a zip tie but Inessa just shot him as she ran past.

She continued her war path, mowing through the men using hand to hand combat when her bullets ran out, before taking another mans gun and using that.

Whilst the team fought to subdue as many of them as they could, Rita trying to minimise casualties, Inessa just shot them all, she didn't come here to arrest them.

"It was a simple go in and out, snatch and bag, not kill everyone" Rita yelled.

"Do you really think they would stop! The police would have just cut them loose and they would back up and running tomorrow." Inessa yelled back.

"There were kids in there" Rita continued, "and I knew you guys had them" Inessa backed herself.

"You might be fine with doing the moral thing, but here morality gets people killed. I told you I didn't need your help on this but you all decided to come anyways" she yelled as she walked off back to the group of kids who were stood with Armando.

"vete a casa, ya no pueden hacerte daño" (go home, they can't hurt you anymore) Inessa spoke to the kids as they ran off. She looked up to see Armando looking at her, his rough gaze drove holes into her, "what, they fucked with kids". "I didn't say anything" he smirked as she shook her head walking away.
