Chapter 1: A deal

You are the new social media manager of Mercedes Formula 1 Team, one of the few women in motorsport.

Now you are heading to the monthly office meeting of the whole team, because you have to take some photos for the social pages; the whole team sits down on a big table and you think that the perfect position for you is staying up near the door, because from there you have a full view of the meeting.

The team principal looks at you, making eye contact, and then sits down at the table.

"Good morning, let's start the meeting. First on the list: we hired a new social media manager for the team, she will manage our social pages. I want all of you to be nice and kind with her and you have to help her if she will need content for her works" he says, looking at you.

"Good morning to everyone" you say, with a camera in your hands.

All the people say <hi> to you and then Toto continues the meeting, going over many points; you walk all around the table, taking some photos, and the team principal sometimes looks at you, giving you nice smiles.

After more than three hours of meeting, it finally ends. Toto looks tired while everyone is leaving the room; when you remain alone with him you think that is better to leave too, because you have a lot of work to do with the content that you shoot.

"I hope that the meeting wasn't too boring for you" he says, making you stop walking.

"I was an university student, i used to attend boring lessons. But this meeting wasn't so bad."

He lets out a small laugh and then sits on a couch, telling you to make him company; you decide to do what he asks, so you sit on a chair in front of him.

"Do you mind if i speak openly with you?"

"You are the boss, you are free to talk"

The team principal sits a little straighter to face you, looking into your eyes.

"I have a big problem..." he says and then seems that he hasn't the courage to continue talking.

"What kind of problem?"

Toto seems a little embarrassed but continues.

"It has to do with the team performance, i want you to investigate the situation and give me advice on what i should do"

"I can help you, but i don't have any experience in motorsport"

"Then let's make a deal: we'll help each other as best as we can for the benefit of the team" he says, stretching his hand towards you.

After you shake it, he says "Then we have a deal now"

"I think so"

After relaxing his body on the couch and focusing you, he continues "so, now you have to listen to my problem"

"Sure".
