jake pov: i sighed.
night shifts are so boring and it's only me until 12 tonight, ugh, i hate this stupid job!
i mean, do i look like the type of babe that should be working at a convenience store?! NO! i should be shaking my ass on a yacht with my rich man paying for everything i want!
its literally not much to ask for.
well, as i sat bored out of my mind behind the counter, someone walked into the store.
it was a girl, pretty, she didn't look korean at all, indian? thai? british maybe?, her hair was a curly brown colour, pretty features with deep tan skin and she was relatively short.
"hello!" i greeted in korean, she smile, "hello" before going to get what she needed, i didn't watch her like a creep, instead i just pulled out my phone, after a good three minutes she came back with a few snacks.
"so...you new too korea?" i asked her in english this time as i scanned the snacks, i giggled a little when her eyes widened, gasping with a smile.
"oh my...finally!" she jumped up a little, i was a little shocked but smiled anyway.
"sorry" she blushed "it's just that...im happy to finally speak to someone in english so soon, i only moved here yesterday and only talking to my friends on the phone have been boring" she explains as i finished scanning everything.
"hm, i feel you, that's how i felt too when coming to korea"
"hm, your from australia?" she asked, "yep, my accents still seasoned~" i joked earning a laugh in response, "hah! your funny, what's your name?"
i raised my brow suspiciously, "oh no no, not like that, i have a boyfriend" she shook her head, raising her hands in defence, "oh! its all good, um my name is jake, your?"
"Lara~"
heeseung pov: "finally, your back babe~" i greeted my girl friend when she came through the door of our studio apartment, "sorry baby" she pecked my lips, "got distracted and ended up talking with the cashier for a while" she smiled.
"hm, you made a new friend?" i followed her into the kitchen where she placed down the bag of snacks, "i hope so, he's really funny~"
my smile dropped, eyes hardening as i looked at her with a deep frown.

she must have felt my stare cause she rolled her eyes, scoffing, "dont worry you jealous baby, i already told him im in a relationship, and plus, what do you view me as, a cheater?~" she came over, pinching my cheeks.
"hm" i huffed, still frowning, but not upset, im happy she's seemed to make a new friend so quickly.
"ok hurry, lets start our movie night!" i picked her up bridal style, she giggled, still holding all the snacks in her arms as i walked us over to the couch.
we snuggled for the rest of the night.
