Piltover Academy

Chapter 4:

Caitlyn had been talking with Eveylnn and Ahri the next day. Rumors had flown around about Vi and Deckard's fight, and though it wasn't uncommon for those two, the other students liked to make a fuss about it. There was also quiet rumors that a new girl would be joining soon, One from the lands of Inoa, which had Eveylnn and Ahri excited. "Do you think she likes music? we could always use a member.. especially since its only us three." Ahri said her tails shifting excitedly as the girls setted for lunch. "Who knows, you could ask her when she comes in, though who knows if its just a rumor or a actual transfer." "You also have to take into account what she did to get transferred so early. Did she cause fits and get expelled? was she bullied? id she kill someone? you never know if she could be dangerous.." Caitlyn said simply, biting into her sandwich as Ahri huffed. "You're not wrong Caitlyn, she could be dangerous to have in the group, regardless if she's a good singer or not.." Kai'sa said as she bit into the flat pizza the school offered,grimincing slightly.

Just at that moment Vi and her group of Misfits walk through the schools doors, heading towards their favorite spot. Vi was hanging back as the two younger freshmen ran forward holding what looked to be a small metal toy and remote. the older one with shaggy hair followed just behind them, taunting the freshmen over the thing as Vi and Claggor watched on. Vi had a slight frown pulling on her lips, which wasn't unusual but it always made caitlyn want to rub away her worry lines. She didn't register her friends talking as Vi scanned the yard, presmuly for Dckard and his group, before her eyes settled on Caitlyn.She saw a mix of emotions flash over the pink hairs face before it settled on mild distaste, though her attention was quickly stolen by whatever gadget the two freshman made. 

the freshmen in question were apart of the schools STEM and Robotics clubs, caitlyn recognized them. they had been going to meets and such since middle school and already the twos unparallel building skills had landed them 1st place in every meet they go to. Apparently this was no different as she watched with mild interest as the little metal thing, she now saw as a car, chased around Vi. She couldn't tell if it wa intentionally or not, as Vi usually helps them test out their inventions, but Caitlyn smiled softly regardless, seeing a bit of her old friend in the pink haired brawler. "Why are you staring at the Vis group like that?" Eve said breaking through Caitlyn's thoughts. She turned to find all three of her friends staring confusedly between her and the group, before waving her hand. "dont worry about it girls, just making sure they weren't going to get into trouble." Ahri raised a eyebrow and glanced one more time between the two as Kai'sa tried to change the subject. 

Quiet whirring was their only warning as the car bumped into Caitlyn's school bag and came to a halt. all 4 girls look down at the study built thing as the wheels turned left and right but couldnt get free. half of the front part was stuck underneath Caitlyn's bag and the back wheels were trying desperately to get free. Caitlyn furrowed her eyebrows and bent down freeing the motorized car and holdin it up as soft thumps announced another arrival. Turning she saw the blue haired freshmen, Powder, running up the remote clutched in her hands, eyes wide. Looking past her she saw the rest of the group watching, Vi and Clagger looking ready to jump in, while the shaggy haired kid, Mylo, seemed to be laughing his ass off as Ekko yelled at him. "Exc-excuse me? Can I have that back?" Powder's voice had Caitlyn looking back down to her, but before she could speak Eveylnn spoke up. "Should be more careful freshmen, Don't want anyone to get hurt while this things underfoot." Caitlyn just nodded, handing the car to the girl. "Keep it close, dont let it get to far again, Would hate for someone to get hurt with this." 

Powder just nodded before running back to the group, and as Caitlyn looked up she saw a flash of pride and something else in Vi's gaze as they made eye contact, before Vi broke it to focus on the freshmen. Caitlyn smiled softly despite it, happy to see her old best friend in the grumpy fighter once again.

(very short i know, i had so much trouble with this chapter its not even funny, it doesn't even relate i just needed to add some little details (not really) before we introduce Akali to the cast!)
