Chapter 74 ( part 1)

Karishma ( POV )

It's early in the morning, I am sitting by the little window of our rooftop room. It's a little room where I work on my books. I think I can publish my own story very soon.

Here I am planning what to do next. Life is slowly getting in track. Father in law is coming over , his relationship with my mother in law and Aditya is getting better.

Khushi is getting comfortable around me but she is still not comfortable around Aditya. I can see him trying to connect with her. So , I made a plan.

I am going out with my mother in law. Keeping Aditya with Khushi. I hope they will spend a day together and try to bond. Hope my plan works. If I can make zen connect with his mother again than I can do it too.

Just wish their relationship could get better. Let's wish for the best and let's do it. I talked with Aditya about it and he agreed. So , I am going to have a day for myself.

I came in the dining hall, it's still early. " Mimi ...Mimi ...look..." Khushi almost came running with gungun in her lap. " I taught gungun how to brush her own hair, look she did so well. " She said proudly showing gungun to me.

Gungun's hairs are still rough and not organised but it's hard work that matters nothing else. " Wow , so good. You both did very good job. " I told them showing thumbs up. Khushi got really close with Aditi, Arav , Akash and gungun.

She never wanted anyone in her room. Now I sometimes find Aditi and gungun hiding in her blanket when they try to avoid school. And I call it a big progress.

" Alright, you both get ready and I am going. I will be late. " I told them. Khushi looked at me and asked " where are you going mimi ? " I don't know what happened , but since she is getting close to me , she hardly stays away from me.

" I am little busy beta , going to work. Will see you soon. " I told them . Gave them kisses and left . Hope Adi could handle them. I am sure my handsome husband will handle everything. I trust him.

Aditya ( POV )

As I walked down in the dining room , I felt like someone is following me. As I turned around I saw my kids , sitting together watching me. Even Arav sitting on his baby breastfast table is giving me judgemental looks.

" Good morning...what's going on ? " I asked them. " Breakfast....we didn't eat breakfast. " Said Aditi. " Arav is hungry. " Said Khushi in a whisper.

Shit ! I forgot, it was my day to take care of the kids while Karishma goes out to enjoy a fun date. " Of course, I didn't forget about breakfast. You know what, who ever can wake sam uncle...will get chocolate. " I told , and the little ones rushed towards Sam's room.

Only khushi and Arav remained .
" Really... chocolate for breakfast? " She asked making a face just like Karishma when she doesn't like something.

" I totally forgot about breakfast, let them be busy , so that I can arrange something for them. " I told her , getting inside the kitchen and she followed me in.

" You threw sam uncle under bus for this , he is going to be mad. " She said to me , for the first time she is talking so much with me. " Oh ! I completely forgot, I have another drama queen wife at home. " I said and I swear I saw her laugh a little.

"  You make Aditi , Akash and gungun's plate. I will arrange for Arav. " She said and pulled out Arav's grinneded oats that he takes with his milk .

" Put some coco in the milk or gungun wouldn't drink it. " She is instructing me just like Karishma. Must say she has learnt many things from Karishma. " What would you like ? " I asked her.

" Mango juice...and Akash will have scrambled eggs. " She kept instructing me. And I made breakfast with her for the very first time. Karishma calls it Bonding time , so it's her who makes breakfast early in the morning with the kids. I see why does it.

" Darkest black coffee for my drama queen. " I told her showing her the coffee cup. Just as we were done with plating and stuff...kids brought sam with them. And he wasn't looking very pleased about it.

" Breakfast is ready, here is your coffee. " I told him , he glared at me for sometime than sat down to eat his breakfast. " When will mimi return? " asked khushi. " Soon " I answered her.

After a lovely breakfast, Martha helped to get the kids ready for school. And our driver took them to school. Now it's just me and my daughter.

" Your mimi told me that , you will start new school soon. Do you want to go shopping? Buy new stuff ? " I asked her. " I have everything I need. " She said and was about to leave the room breaking my hopes but she stopped at her tracks.

" Mimi has enrolled me for the gituar classes, as I love music. She said you know about guitars .... can you help me buy one ? " She asked , her first request. Of course I can do that for her.

" Of course, get ready. " I told her. She nodded and thought about something and said " can we visit mimi in her office than ? " And another Karishma fan in the house. Which I am not complaining about.

" Well , since the kids are gone.  Mimi took a mother's break. She is having the day for herself...not at work. So I don't know if we could meet with
her. " I explained. She didn't say another word and left.

30 minutes later

" Have you played gituar before? " I asked khushi as we were driving in the main road. " No , but I would love to learn. " She replied. Well , pretty straightforward answer.

" Have you played gituar before? " She asked me. " Yes , when I was in college , I used to play guitar. " I replied to her. " Now you don't play guitar? " She asked me and should I share the true story? I think I should.

" I promised myself I would play guitar on your first birthday. But since that never happened..I didn't played guitar ever , I just gave it up. " I told her. Her eyes were on me.

" Now I can finally play again. " I told her. " Can you teach me? " She asked me in a whisper. " Of course I can. " I replied to her. She nodded with a smile. I think we are making progress here.
