I want to shed my troubles
at a comet's beam, disintegrate
particle by particle
missing my primordial form
Where our
quirks become quarks
and our follies
become photons, never
looking back at the
Earth I've left behind
Back in the days of
the Big Bang, I had a
thing with a hot photon
maybe I'll see her again
Who knows?
I took a wormhole
Because it's
better than the bus
Less awkward to be sure
Life is much more basic
and simple. The universe
doesn't play favorites like
Earth always did.
