Chapter 5

Charlie's POV

Its Saturday!No school!I played loud music.This is my jam!"Shut up and dance with me! Oo Oo Oo Shut up and dance with me!" I sang."HEY KEEP IT DOWN!" Johnny yelled."Sorry." I whispered. I turned off the music.I went downstairs to eat breakfast. Mmm,toaster strudels, my favorite.I pigged out and went up the stairs to play video games."Hold on." Mitch said just as I turned on my computer. "What,am I in trouble?" I said worriedly."No you haven't even gotten ready." He said."Ok good." I said relieved. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Then my hair.Next I dressed up in a T-shirt and Khaki shorts,long white sicks and black Vans. I put my hair in pig tails.Looking good.My computer just started up when there was a knock at the door."Coming!" I yelled.I ran down the stairs and peeked through the window.Its Jim.I opened the door."Hey Jim." I said smiling."Hi Charlie.You want to hang out?" He asked."Sure.Where are we going?"  "Wherever you want."  "Alright I'll tell my dad." "Hey Dad I'm going to hang out with Jim." I yelled."Alright have fun and be safe." He yelled back.I ran to the park."Are we going to troll little kids today?" Jim asked. "Nah let's just chill." I said.He pushed me on the swings.We talked on the bench.He gave me flowers.Then he used that cheesy pick up line "I lost my number can I have yours?" I gave him my number.He gave me his.We playing tag with 6 year olds.We played in the sand box and the playground.Then we went home.

I went inside and realized I never made a YouTube account. I made one Girly_Canadian. Best. Username. Ever.I filmed myself playing Minecraft with Mitch and explained he was my dad and stuff.I posted the video.Everyone said I was a fraud and a liar in the comments."Dad can we make a Vlog?" I said."Sure, but why?" "Everyone thinks that Im fake." "Ok. Come here so we can film." We made the Vlog.Most of the comments said cool she's not fake but some jerk said no you just edited her into the video. What an ass.

The Next Day,12:30

I got a text message from Jim. "Hey are you busy" "No why" "Just wondering so we can chill." "Sure where do we meet." "How about CiCi's pizza for lunch?"  "Sounds great."   "Dad I'm going to be at Cici's pizza for lunch." I yelled."Ok come back at 3:00." Mitch said.I rode a bike down to the pizza place.Jim looked like he was about to leave.He got up moving sadly and slowly.Then I walked in."Charlie there you are. I thought you weren't coming." Jim said."Well I'm here now let's eat." My stomach growled.I got 2 slices of cheese pizza and a glass of cola."So what did you do before I got here." I asked."I went into the arcade played some games.Used prise machines." He pulled out a cute teddy bear with a heart that said Be Mine.He also had a cheap plastic ring."Be my girlfriend?" Jim said smiling.I nodded like fifty times. He slipped the ring on my finger and handed me the teddy bear. "Thanks babe." I said hugging him."Let's get out of here." He said pulling me out by the hand. "Hold it.You need to pay," the worker said.Jim pulled out his wallet."Now let's go." He said and pulled me out of there.We sat on a bench.I stared into his eyes.He pulled me in for our first kiss.I was starstruck. I rode home thinking of our kiss.He's so romantic and sweet.Just before I left I said "Love You Babe!" I got hone an hour before."Your early." Dad said."I know." I said smiling.
