Chapter 6

Charlie's POV

C'mon pick up Claire I thought to myself."Hi Charlie!". She said. "Claire!!!!"."I'm at the airport.I'm going on to my flight in a few minutes."Claire said."That's great, but did you quit your job working at the adoption center?" I asked."Yes but I'm going to be a teacher at your school when I get to Canada!!!" "How are you gonna be a teacher when you don't have a teaching permit or something?" I asked."When I wasn't at the adoption center I would be at the university studying." She said."Now I remember when you weren't there." I said."My flight is in 3 minutes,I'll call you look later." She said."Bye Claire." She hung up.This is awesome!!!!

Claire's POV

I hung up and rushed to the plane.I found an empty seat by the window.After a few minutes a fat,balding man in a business suit sat next to me."Gonna be a looooong flight isn't it?" He asked."I guess so." I said.Yep its gonna be a loooong flight I thought.

Once he stopped talking I fell asleep.It only felt like a few minutes past but we made it to Canada!!!!The voice over the speaker woke me up."Hello this is your pilot speaking,We have made it to Canada.Please get off the plane safely." I did a little happy dance in my mind. The guy next to me got up and left.I followed him down the stairs on the stairs on the airplane and into the airport.We went to the baggage claim and waited for like 5 hours until it became less crowded and our bags showed up.He got a brief cases and I got my Luggage bag.I rolled my bag over to a chair and took a seat.I texted Charlie. I'm waiting at the airport can you pick me up?If you can't I'll take a taxi to Mitch's place.I sat and waited.Eventually I fell asleep again.

Charlie's POV

My phone buzzed.New message from Claire:I'm waiting at the airport can you pick me up?If you can't I'll take a taxi to Mitch's place.She's at the airport!!!"Dad can we go to the airport?!" I yelled."Why?!" He said."To pick up Claire." I said going down the stairs."Who's that?" "Remember from the adoption center?"

~Flash Back Start~

"I love your videos!" "Who is this girl?" Mitch asked."And so does my brother,but he's not here." I quickly explained."She's Charlie, my favorite person here." Claire said with a big smile."Aw,do you really mean it?" I said smiling.

~Flash Back End~

"Ohhhhh now I remember!"He said."Can we pleeeeease?" I begged."Sorry were busy today." "That sucks." I pulled out my phone and texted Claire.

~Claire's POV~

Buzz, New message From Charlie: Sorry Claire you have to take a taxi.:( God Dammit.OK I'll be over in a while. I texted back.

A Few Hours Later

Charlie's POV

There was a knock at the door. "I'll get it!" I yelled. I opened up the door to a big surprise. "Claire!" I Yelled. I gave her a huge hug. "Come on in, I'll take your bags." I picked up her bag and rolled it up the stairs. "So, this is your room." I said and opened up the door to her room. "Umm, its empty."She said confused."I know, we're going to personalize it."
