As I stand in the central square of our village, I see the anxiety etched on everyone's faces. The air is thick with tension, the whispers of the dark force now replaced by the palpable fear of the approaching armies. I look around at my fellow Forgotten, the men and women who have become my family. Their eyes, so often filled with determination and hope, are now clouded with doubt.

I tighten my grip on my staff, the wood smooth and warm under my fingers. It's a symbol of my training, my connection to the Arcane, and perhaps our only hope. "We can't just wait for them to come and destroy us," I say, my voice louder than intended. "We have to fight. We have to use what we know, what we've learned."

An older man, Tarek, steps forward. His hair is streaked with silver, and his eyes are a deep, thoughtful brown. "But how, Liora? We have no beasts to aid us, no armies, no weapons like theirs."

"We have our magic," I reply, a fierce determination rising within me. "We have the Arcane. It's more powerful than they realize. If we come together, if we channel all our knowledge, we can create something strong enough to defend our land."

Murmurs of agreement ripple through the crowd. The Forgotten may have been cast aside, but we have not lost our spirit, our will to survive. I raise my staff, feeling the familiar hum of energy coursing through it. "Let's prepare," I say. "We don't have much time."

As the villagers disperse to gather supplies and fortify our defenses, I make my way to the ancient temple at the edge of the village. It's a place few dare to enter, filled with relics and scrolls of the old magic. I push open the heavy doors, the creak echoing in the silence. Inside, the air is cool and still, the faint glow of enchanted crystals lighting the way.

I move to the altar at the center, placing my staff upon it. Closing my eyes, I begin to chant, calling upon the spirits of the Arcane. The power within me swells, responding to my plea. We have been forgotten, cast aside, but the Arcane has always been our ally, our protector. I can feel it now, stronger than ever as if it too knows the gravity of the situation.

The ground beneath me trembles, and the crystals around the room pulse with light. I open my eyes, seeing the temple come alive with magic. "We will not be defeated," I whisper. "We will show them the strength of the Forgotten."

I gather the ancient scrolls, deciphering the spells and incantations that might help us. The war is upon us, but we are not without hope. We have the Arcane, and we have each other. And together, we will fight for our home, for our survival, for our place in this world.

But then something happened, The ancient scrolls spread before me were suddenly bathed in an eerie light, and I felt a chill run down my spine. I turned to see an old man standing at the entrance of the temple, his presence both unexpected and unsettling. His eyes, ancient and wise, bore into mine with an intensity that made me feel as if he could see my very soul.

"Who are you?" I asked, my voice steady despite the rapid beating of my heart.

The old man smiled, a knowing glint in his eyes. "That is not important, child. What matters is the message I bear."

I felt a ripple of unease, but I nodded for him to continue.

"The only way to stop the evil that is about to unfold, to prevent the dark force from awakening, is for you to marry one of the Solstice brothers."

His words struck me like a bolt of lightning. "Marry? The Solstice brothers? But how...?" My thoughts raced, my mind struggling to grasp the enormity of the task before me.

The old man raised a hand, silencing my questions. "I do not know which brother you are to marry. That is for you to discover. But know this, Liora: the Solstice brothers reside in Radiantia, and it is there you must go. You must disguise yourself, and hide who you truly are and where you come from. Only then will you have a chance to find the brother destined to be your husband."
